Alslo I haven't touched my PS3 in aages. and need a decent controller. Is the Dualshock 3 thing the best? Or are there better 3rd party ones?

What's wrong with the controller you have? Stay away from 3rd party controllers - they have a slower response time.

Battery died or something? It definitely won't work.

The only reason I'm using PS3 as of now (ie until BF 3 comes out), is to use Linux. I want Win7 AND Linux. MWaaaaahahahahahah!

I looked at this it looks pretty cool:

    http://www.snakebyte-europe.com/shop/product_info.php?info=p70_PS3-Premium-Bluetooth-Controller.html

It's meant to be Faster than dualshock, which I already had.

lol does anyone else think the PS3 Fat looks way nicer/shinier than the matted PS3 slim? Weird, I know....

Omg Yes! You can disable smileys! ;D I much prefer textie-smileys

There were a lot of jokes about it. France wants a war, Germany calls for peace and Russia is the good uncle to everyone. Ha funney!

Obama is a puppetmaster, he manipulates others to do things for him so he can take the credit. I don't like him. And he has delivered upon very little of what he promised, circa 2008 elections.

I don't like Medvedev either. At least he'll be gone by 2012, Putin is what Russia needs. He will hurl them right out of their economic problems as of now. My favourite politician in the world. He knows what the people want, and doesn't take **** from anyone - America knows this, and is dreading the thought of such an influential man coming to power. Med' isn't forthcoming, he's still stuck back in 80's Russia, where problems were never addressed, simply ignored.

Medvedev certainly doesn't deserve praise for Libya, and definitely not a friggin' Nobel Prize. Since when does achieving peace make you a candidate for one?

The only thing it has going for it is gas and oil

I wouldn't say that. It is a country hugely self-dependent, they don't want OR need allies. They still pretty much act as communist, and Putin is the man responsible. People are at the same time happy and worried.

Why does the conversation in this thread always get so...heavy? :pac:

Putin fixed the country after the mess he was left with IMO.
It has huge problems, low birth rate, crumbling military, states rebelling, corruption, authoritarianism, people disappearing, rape, violence etc

You sound like you are knowledgable on the subject...

And saying Russia is only good for gas and oil is beyond ignorant. It isn't nearly as broken as the US, I will tell you that for nothing.

Mixery, please elaborate on your views on Putin? It's difficult to talk about something when people's opinion stretches as as far as

    "Obama FTW"
    and

"Russia doesn't need an ex-KGB agent"

    I mean, come on....

Which is exactly why they need him back. He is extremely good at what he does, that is, keeping countries economy sustained and to a healthy standard. The general sensus in Russia is they love him, too, so they will more than gladly follow what he tells them.

Well I think the US is breaking, but Russia IS broken
The US has been going steadily downhill since Reagan, and if there is another 8 year Republican presidency they (and the world) are basically screwed.

Well, he is the Prime Minister (of a federation ) so hes still there.
He is genuinely popular, but that can only get you so far.

No, Russia WAS broken, pre-2000, but Putin injected life into it. Economic growth developed at exceedingly rapid rates until his standing down.

Medvedev is dragging down Russia into it's post-communism phase of the 1990's, and they need Putin back again.

The problem with the US isn't really the Republican idealogies, it's always the leaders. Obama is very indecisive, which leaves other nations to question his worthiness or whether to trust him or not. I know Obama is a Democrat, but he seems to be digging a deeper hole for American, making it's enemies more and more pissed off with his often foolish actions. The Osama BinLaden situation was a plain disgrace, and to think he ran the operation is astounding. Terrible decision, terrible timing, and complete lack of communication with other countries whom it concerned, not least Pakistan. Like I said, it's difficult to understand his motives, ulterior or not.
The USA needs a man much like JFK, someone who will guide them in times of hardship, and not via a load of smalltalk bull**** that has become the Modus Aperandi of recent presidents.

That's what I like about Russian politics, you know what you're getting with your government, and not just a bunch of words and shady lies in press conferences.

Well, it can get ultimately get you back to presidency, which is as far as anyone could want to go... Trust me, he will run for president, and will inevitably become the president. Definitely want to live there when I'm older.
