    Haaaaa...
"Will Swap For A Mini Moto, Pitbike, Scrambler, Dirtbike Or Quadbike Etc"

Some of the stuff on adverts these days is batsh1t crazy..It's getting worse and worse.Really?...I'd love to call to his house on my quad bike and bludgeon him repeatedly about the face with his crappy GB before inserting it internally(in him,not me):) and then continually reverse over him while listening to the Tetris soundtrack

N64 with Fifa and missing expansion pack cover €100
    http://www.adverts.ie/nintendo/nintendo-64-with-2-controller-and-games/1802537
Theres a selection of N64's on adverts in better condition with more games for as cheap as €30
I see another one with 16games, 2 pads in original box for €70 and he can't get that, how the hell does this guy think he'll get €100 is beyond me

    Are some of these people:

    1) Deluded
    2) Chancing their arm
    3) Smoking crack cocaine
    4) Just total morons

Which is it? Or a combination of all of the above? Sometimes its funny to see the likes of that N64, other times, it's just downright tiring to look at

I picked an N64 up that was boxed with extras galore (memory paks, rumble paks, controllers etc) for £25 off eBay. People need to get real with those valuations.

I always wince whenever I see a Gamegear for sale. You just know the caps haven't been replaced and the console will fail after a week. (If it even gets that far!)

Yeah it's one repair that seems to be a case of must do, not a what if

Next to the NES 72 pin, I'd put it up there with the most guaranteed problem to occur with a newly purchased second hand console.

At least the 72 pin is an easy fix though!

Very true, the GG cap kit especially the sound board can be a right mess.

Yeah, do you remember the sound board you did on either your one or my one a while ago there? It looked like it had rabies!

Anyone know where to get the cap kits for the gamegear?

Was that one I had to bypass the pcb with a piece of wire to get the sound working again? One board was so corroded, the tracks on the pcb had been eaten through & needed to be bypassed. They really are terrible for cap problems

How much would a MISB from the 80's NES be worth?

Also, how are MISB items verified if the box has no see through parts without opeing the box, instantly lowering its value?

€150/€200? I'm only throwing a guess at it

On adverts? Everything is new, regardless of its its used or not.
In reality? Box seals etc maybe. If there's no box seals, I'd be fairly sure its been opened by someone to at least have a peek. Not every box has a seal, so if there's none, its safe to open to verify contents
