Yea its like celeb COD. They where throwing stun grenades at the chopper on the last one :rolleyes:

No player on either team had any anti air. Even after both losing a game because of a chopper in the 3rd game they still had no anti air. FFS.

I thought Friday night games would be the best clans in the world or money games or something like that.

The elite service is a big steaming pile of sh1te so far. It would have been disappointing even for free. The only saving grace is the free DLC and the hope that it might improve in the future.

They have taken in 60 to 80 million dollars in two weeks with the service. It must be one of the most successful launches of a paid service on the internet in gaming history. They need to start using some of that money to support the service or they deffo will not get the renewal from most people.

It'll have to, thats the whole point of this service, get you using it now so that years down the line you'll depend on the service with every new COD release. It'll all be interconnected so that you can't have one without the other.

I personally like the elite service (when its working) and hope to see more features added. I love how you can instantly see your friends stats and compare etc.

Not gonna get the 'best clans' playing public games/anything with killstreaks.

I'm trying to get the 2 hours double xp but having major trouble! They sent me the link to verify my email but everytime i put in my username and password it just pops back up blank asif what i provided them was wrong. I can log into cod elite no problem just can't verify my email

Elite service me bollix. 2 months in and they still have no way to level up your clan unless you were a 'founder'. Oooh we'll call the early buyers founders to make them feel special so they'll give us their money ASAP.

First two dlc maps being released to xbox 24th January, a week later for elite ps3 I believe. Maps are set in an Italian coastal town and central park in NY. Its all up on the elite site.

Can't remember the exact link but it was another internet forum...may or may not be true so sincere apologies for the vagueness. By the way for those of you with smart phones the elite app is now available for iPhone users and will be available on Android next week. That's according to the elite site itself. Should make accessing details, changing classes etc more easy.

Apparently activision had some sort of press briefing yesterday harping on about the new content but refused to give a release date for ps3 and pc users. Looks like us ps3 users will have to be patient. Now I am feeling a bit ripped off again. Looks like Microsoft are pulling a lot of strings there

Elite App for Android

Activision will finally release their Call of Duty: Elite companion app next week on Android. The app was slated to launch last month, but was delayed due to the problems Activision was having staying online with the ridiculous amount of traffic it was getting.

The companion app itself will let players access certain features of the actual service including stats, edit loadouts, view performances in recent matches, and browse current challenges.

Users will also be able to meet other players, form clans, and view tutorials. It will essentially give users the ability to do everything they can already do in the full version of Elite. All changes made in the app will push to the live game as soon as you boot it up.

The Android version of Call of Duty: Elite will be available next week and should be a free download in the Android Market. We'll make sure to let you know as soon as it is arrives.

Since its launch, the Call of Duty franchise has sold 55 million copies and generated more than $3 billion in revenue worldwide.

PS3 (and PC I presume) Elite users will be able to download any content at the same time that non-Elite 360 users can ie: a month later than 360 Elite users.

For those of us on the PS3, including my good-self that didn't purchase elite and luckily I have no intention of ever doing so, but we'll have to wait a 3 months(!) before we can download them. Unless COD4 and MW2 maps are released, I for one am not bothered in the slightest. Kinda crummy for those are in my situation and wanted to purchase the maps/content.

That is very bad form from activision. No where in the ad campaign for elite did it state a three month wait for dlc for ps3 users. If that is the case where is the benefit for ps3 users? I don't see any advantage to signing up to elite. We wuz robbed....

I signed up for my 1st elite competition on saturday night to win an ipad. was playing 3 hours solid only to check the leaderboards later on & see that the competition was now "void due to techical diffuculties" & "thanking us for our understanding" .

Elite has been a disaster from start to finish.. i paid the same as xbox users why do i have to wait longer for DLC?

why are we only getting 9 months DLC instead of the 12 promised?

What happened to the 2 tv shows out of the 3 that where promised weekly?? they show friday night fights every week & its enjoyable nonsense but there was another 2 shows promised "noob tubes" & "cocked hammers" & now theres no sign of them!

Was also promised an animated MW3 wallpaper & this hasnt been redeemable since day 1!




What a total waste of money...never again!!!!!!

Yeah the site one is fooked the Elite app on PS3 and phone works fine though, just another example of shoddy work by Activision!
