As far as I know chow mein is one of the lowest if not the lowest. About 10pp I THINK!! As far as I know that's for chicken so add a couple extra if ur having beef.

I just realised how much of an emotional eater I am. I'm in such a bad humour and just cannot stop eating even though I've hone over my dailies :-(

I can totaly relate to that....bad mood, depressed etc any of the negative emotions I tend 2 eat!!! When I'm happy tho I can be sooo gud, I get on these mad rolls!!! I was in a bit of a bad place mentally ova d course of march and put on a fair bit of weight but ova d last 2weeks iv goten bac into a beta state of mind and am doin fairly ok, I think!!!!!
A lot of us are possibly in the same boat with the emotional eating

    Had a bad week :(
Went to McDonalds yesterday and had a Big Mac and fries..I know I know-I should know better and I felt so guilty afterwards.
I hope my motivation keeps me on track this week.
This thread really helps so thanks everyone

no need to feel guilty thats why we have 49 weeklies so we can have a treat :)

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Goodfellas low fat pizzas that were mentioned last week. I'm thinking of getting them but want to know if they're nice and worthwhile?
I have two chicken ones and two cheese ones in the freezer there small would not be for sharing! will report back on taste Thursday night!

got them on special in tesco there's two in a box for either 2euro or 2.50 can not remember!

had the chicken one on friday. was heading out and needed a bit of soakage ;) they are very tasty and definitely helped my craving for pizza but i wouldnt be having them by themselves as they are very small. if you don't have the points i'd recommend a very large salad but if you have points to spare then you can splash out with chips or whatever you'd prefer. but basically if you have a craving for pizza i would recommend them

Ladies on adv would ye be up much when totm is due, I lost 2 last week and I'm
Up 2 this week and I really don't think it's justified!

yes with your totm you can gain anything up to 5lb but it's generally fluid and will be gone the next weigh in though it's so de motivating when it happens just remember if you've been good it's only temporary

Oh God lads and ladies I've fallen off the wagon again. I can't even see the wagon anymore!!

Dunno what's wrong with me. One week I'm doing great and lose 3 pounds then I go on a hiatus and end up with more to lose than originally! In the middle of exams at the moment too which is not helping. Have so much study to do I can't find time to exercise, there just isn't enough hours in the day!!

Going to a wedding in Italy in 3 weeks and at the rate I'm going I won't fit in the dress I bought for it. Ugh.

jeez we could be twins ur post echos the one i posted yesterday i had hoped today would be better but i'm working my way through a large bar of dairy milk at the minute it seems the closer i get to an occasion i'm trying to look good for the worse i get ( i also have a day out in 3 weeks) but now i'm thinking how will i feel this time 3 weeks if i continue the way i'm going and you know what it would be ****e so tomorrow morning no matter what out comes the tracker and everything no matter what will go in there. We've come too far to let go now so imagine what 21 days of good tracking could do for us. good luck

I buy the pots of muller light and get the guts of 2 portions out of them for 1pp per portion. They are 165g in weight which in total would be 3pp

I got one of these tonight - the mint one with the chocolate bits. I pointed it at home with my calculator and then online and it worked out as 1pp for 100g and 2pp for 165g. How are you getting 3pp for the 160g tub?

Hmmm really? I never pointed the mint one so I don't know. I think it depends on the flavour!

Ah that's probably it. I was worried my calculator was on its way out, to be honest! I haven't tasted it yet. I'm saving it for after WI tomorrow :)

I haven't tasted the mint and choc one. I'd imagine it'd be nice as a dessert-type treat! I love the vanilla and chocolate one though, and the strawberry one and the banana and custard one... All of them really! Use them to accompany my big bowl of fruit almost every day, delish! :)

low low toasties r only 1 pro point per slice. chicken chow mein is about 13 pro points and the mushroom one i think is 8 pro points

I think it says mushroom chow mein is 6pp - I usually have a king prawn chow mein dry so usually point that about ten.

    :)

    Good Morming everyone

Hope everyone is feeling motovated today. After a couple of blah days i have woken up back in the zone, it's great when that happens after a good nigjhts sleep. The night before fell of the wagon, woke up with a sugar hangover, not good. I am such an emotional eater, i have never magaged to change that about myself no matter how well i do in ww. I used to smoke when i lost all the weight before so whenver i felt blue then instead of food i would have a a smoke instead. Put on a stone and a half since goal and giving up the fags.

One of my goals this week is to not treat food as a reward, plan my meals, have them and if I feel the need to snakck on something, distract myself, do my nails, have some water etc.

If i could curb that i wouldnt have any weight issues as my meals are healthy.

    Anyone else like that?

Anyway I am back on track and had my first weigh in today, I stuck to my 26PP everyday, used 15 weeklies and earned about 25 activity PP and the scales did not budge, I'm doing it for keeps this time so its not gonna throw me off track but have to say I was very disappointed! :(

Week 2 of being back on track and agian no loss - ate my 26PP everyday except one (had 22PP) used a lot of weeklies- 30PP and earned 26 activity PP. Any suggestions?

Me too :( I really think I deserve a loss too and I feel much lighter and actually feel slimmer, like I feel like I have lost weight. But the scales are showing a STS :( Time will tell at tomorrow evenings WI. I will be livid if I am up because I totally don't deserve that and no totm due or anything....

I'm in the same boat! I was stuck in a rut a few week backs weight-wise so I stirred things up a bit and that seemed to move me on a bit. I'm about half a stone away from goal and I'm finding it difficult to even get a 1lb loss at this point! I lost 1.5lb 3 weeks ago, another 1.5lb 2 weeks ago, was down 1lb last week and stayed the same this week so I've kind of hit that plateau where it just doesn't want to go! I know I could stay at this weight if I wanted and it'd be within my BMI but I just want to lose that little bit more! SO.... A bunch of people at my meeting last night told us that they had the very same problem, at wits end, had tried everything, didn't know what to do, then gave F&H a go (even though they too were terrified of it, afraid they'd eat too much etc) and lost from 1lb to 2lb the weeks that they did it, finally losing weight after weeks of STS or putting on weight. So I've decided to have some faith in myself and give F&H a go for the entire week! Fingers crossed the change will help, I'll let ye know how I get on next week!

I was really afraid of trying the filling n healthy week but started last fri so far so good! ( I think!!) made out a little tracker for myself with the filling and healthy foods I use during the week on one side n non f&h on the other with how often I use them n then a 1-49 for the weeklies to tick off!so far I have used 22 weeklies but mainly on ingredients such as stock cubes n cheese in my dishes plus a few treats, one sml kitbag n 2 pink wafers! I also found a recipe in a ww book for banana bars n all the ingredients are f&h, I think they are nice n good for a treat with a cup of tea because they have a cake like consistency, I can try post up the recipe when I gt home if any1 would like it? I won't know how iv really got on until Friday but I am watching my portion sizes and stopping and assessing am I full which is totally new to me!il try for 2 wks tho as this wk is totm on thurs/fri!

Well I was up 1.5lbs this morning  I have no idea why because I have stuck to my points and was much better with exercise this week than I was last week. Like you Monife I feel slimmer. The annoying thing is my exams start next week so its going to be a challenge to stay on track this week. I have my meals planned so hopefully that'll help.

Thanks for the feedback on the Goodfellas pizza. I figured they'd be small based on the size of the box so I might just stick to ristorante pizzas.

Yeah I'm on Day 2 of F&H and I have to say I'm liking not feeling hungry as often as I usually would! I've used 3 weeklies so far, gonna try limit to using them for just treats and avoid using them for butters/cheese etc, and just do without instead! Have to have my treatsize bar of choc with my cup of tea in the evening so I'll be taking 2pp from my weeklies each day for that! Would love to try that recipe for teh banana bars, yum! I've been having the 'apple crumble' with yoghurt from the filling and healthy book, also nice with a cup of tea! Best of luck with Friday then I'll be curious to hear how you get on!

I had the cheese one last night, topped it with some mushroom and 2 pp of chorizo and a big salad with light choices salad dressing. It was delish for a total of 13pp.. (if I pp the salad dressing, even though it was probably waaaaaaaaaay less than 1pp)

OH GOD YES!!! I found that i was picking at my little ones treats and or justifying having something bad like a chipper or something by saying well I only used x amount of pp today... Like you, I started doing my nails or browsing this, hanging around washing... ANYTHING to stop the dreaded picking. I still do it, although a lot less now (My little one was sick on Friday so I got her a DVD and we curled up on the couch watching it with a bag of Buttons. I ended up throwing them over to the one seater because she wasn't eating them so I was making up for it! Must have had more than half of the large bag.

well i finally braved the scales this morning as i'd missed last week's w.i and was up 4lb. it was totally deserved but am feeling so gutted as i'm back to 10st 2lb now and thought i'd seen the last of the 10 weeks ago. about 5 weeks ago i was 9st 9lb and had just 2lb to go and what did i do only go ruin it all. But now's the time to take some responsibility and do what i'm meant to be doing and not blame it on everything else goin on so here's where i take back the reins WISH ME LUCK:(

how about cooking some couscous and mixing with some diced up different colour peppers, red onion, halved cherry tomatoes on some salad leaves and a grilled chicken breast shredded on top or some quorn chicken style fillets and some nice fat free dressing it's yummy. or make up an ommelette with cooked baby potatoes or pasta ( wholemeal in the filling and healthy booklet) and take it sliced to work with salad i made it a couple of times and really filling. You could also take some tinned fruit in it's own juice strained in a container over a crumbled trifle sponge(2pp) with a fat free yogurt to top it.

    hope this helps a bit

Was thinking of trying some Filling and Healthy days, i know there was two breads you were allowed the weight watchers bread and another, does anyone know what the other bread was. What did you think of the Filling and Healthy days, did you have a weight loss?

Dunnes do a 1 point per slice wholemeal bread - Better for You its called. It's only 1 point per slice and 2 points for 2. Much better than the Weightwatchers bread which is like feathers! They also do a granary version which works out at 1.3 points per slice so barely 3 points for two!

Does anyone know how many PP's there are in a bag of Green Isle Wicked Wedges?
My OH threw the bag in the bin and has the wedges in the oven so I've no idea what points they are and I don't want to eat them if they're too high

    Hey! They sound really good!!
When this happens I go to the tesco website, (you'll have to set up an account, takes no more than 3 mins) and from there you can the nutritional information of everything that Tesco sells!
And that way you can work out the pp..
