Hah you're correct! Just had a look on the shelf and yep I have the NTSC-J version - it came with the OST rather than a superplay DVD though. Not sure if there's a release with a superplay?

/Edit: Actually, if you're browsing 360 games you should try and nab Ketsui Extra with that delicious little guide book.

Cheers Andrew76, I had a feeling your Raiden IV was NTSC-J.

I couldn't find Raiden IV when I looked again. I found Ketsui Extra LE but decided not to get it as I have the regular edition (and can rob your one haha!). You know the best Raiden Fighters to get is the NTSC-U one? The NTSC-J one is expensive, even in Japan.

Finally nailed Batsugun , considered by a lot of fans as the first real Danmaku Shmup .



It has the special version Rom installed !

Now I only want Tatsujin and have pretty much what I want on PCB
Ketsui will have to make place in the Aero City for this one next week .

It's a really tough game, however with a bit of practice the '3D' sections are handy enough to get through. Still no easy task though!

There are a lot of crazy effects going on in this game that are way ahead of the time this game was released. I love its ambition. Great game.

I played Darius before on Mame but the screen is just to small to enjoy it but I have a Sony HMZ T1 ...........:p

Is that thing any use? I've heard nothing but favourable reviews of it. As it's 'that time of year' I was going to buy an iPhone 5 at launch. Now though I am leaning toward an HMZ-T1... or both?

Is a product revision due soon?

Anyway, back to Darius, that's a fantastic GET! The PS1 version commands a higher price than the Saturn one. I have the Saturn one but will probably skip the PS1 in favour of the board one day. I have to complement the Laserdisc somehow!

Laserdisc looks awesome but what's up with the creepy corpse and little girl :eek:

The HMZ is awesome , picture sitting in the middle of a medium sized movie theater and the 3D is the best you will ever experience , the oled screens have black levels on par with the best Pioneer Kuro and incredible contrast .
The only drawback is that the thing hurts your nose and forehead really bad after an hour or so but I have modded mine so it looks terrible now but is very comfortable for long sessions .



Playing Akai Katana will never be the same and Killzone 3 in 3D was insane .

Some day I'll do a proper photo album of the collection. I'm actually sorting out my shelves/boxes tonight so might take a few snaps. I think my miniscule PCB collection pales in comparison to yours though!

You got a lot more console stuff , I only have Playstation , Dreamcast and just a couple for Saturn .
Only Tatsujin now and I'm finished with PCB bar a few ST-V and IGS PGM carts .

DoDonpachi II / Bee storm

Got a bit of a bad rep by CAVE purists because it´s made by IGS but more and more people on Shmups do like it , chaining is more forgiving than the CAVE Pachi´s and you can earn bombs by scraping bullets .
One terrible thing is that the score doesn't reset if you continue
