@tsmyth: just post here and watch all the info. It's good if you provide info about you as well, your level of play and the most importantly if you live in Dublin.

    Hey mantys,

I know it's tough but part of it should be for your own enjoyment. If extras, such as more competition or bigger things, come after - brilliant!

I host the Glacial Super League (season 3 coming up folks ;) ) in Limerick. Not massive numbers but I enjoy it, get to play a few games and socialise with cool people with similar interests. Is tough to get extra people convinced to come along unfortunately!

A prize of some sort can help. The league has a structure of €1 per session going to a travel fund for Inferno and €2 going to a cash prize. This is all paid out at season end, while the winner of a session gets a packet of Glacier mints (get the tie-in?). It's small but it's something. The competitive could try to help ye to raise your own game. That's what D4RK ONION, FutureGuy and a couple of others try to do for the rest of us...If only we put in the time at home :D

I made a mistake with my own points structure in season 1 - people got points for turning up, and points awarded per win. This didn't work so it was revamped in season 2. Just gotta roll with these things and learn from them.

Try to get more casuals going. Builds your own game if nothing else. And hopefully a new game brings new blood.

Hope that helps somewhat. Any questions, give a shout!
Test ye well (I like this saying!).

    🤪

@Sabre0001: I know this point system is bad, but I made it so people keep coming. For season 2 it will be different.
Do you think it will be a good idea to increase the fee to 10 euro per player? 5 euro as an entrance fee , 2 euro maybe to support players not from Dublin and 3 for the prize? Well, if at least 8 people show up, it's 16 euro to support people who would like to come to Dublin, but have to pay the bus fee (some people even pay 25 euro to get here and the same **** to get back) and 24 euro for the winner! I don't know, but this would work for me, once a month a tenner...And the elite would have some kind of reason to come.

    Points after today:

    1) Skeering 107/128
    2) Mantys 72 (org)
    3) Eon 67 (drp)
    4) Firestarter 53 (drp)
    5) Aurongroove 44
    6) Triademan (K.O.I.F.) 41
    7) Aaron 33
    8) RedDragonJack 31
    9) Nani 30
    10) NoviGlitzko 24
    11) Jun_DP101 13
    12) Ezda 11
    13) Adam 7

I played with Nani today and his friend and lost 20:14 against his Kaz with Miguel...and his friend was very unlucky today with his Law. But anyway, keep up the good work lads and thanks for coming!
