i got one a few months ago, i would advise anyone interested in one to to get it, awesome gun, kick-off works a dream, lovely gun to shoot and its light. i gave €1500 for mine but that was goin cheap. a friend priced one at €2200:eek:.

the only thing about the gun is that it is quite noisy when loading. when you close the bolt there is a "harmonic clang". But it wouldnt put me off the gun;)

2200 is RRP from Ardee sports the beretta main agent.

call any dealer and they beat that price,
as said above i priced 3 cork dealers are €1820, €1750, €1700 for this
i rang a few in total and none where more than €2000.

yeah i think it was ardee who quoted him€2200, whick is a lot more than what you have been quoted.
€1700 doesnt seem like a bad price.
I have heard you can get ex demo models in the uk for around £1100,but youd nearly be better buying it new here.

thanks for the info lads useful to know as the dealer im dealing with at the moment gave a ball park figure of 2000+:(... least i can say now that they can be got for the figures quoted... so why is it that other dealers can sell same gun for cheaper than ardee sports if they are they main importers probably a silly question.. does it just boil down to greed??

Ardee are wholesalers, it's up to the retailer to set the price, ie. Gun dealer buys from Ardee for x amount and puts their markup on it.

The 2,200 quoted is just the RRP which probably is a suggested 50% markup, gun dealers are finding this to be uncompetitive so therefore they are achieving closer to a 20% markup.

Was quoted €1630 with recoil pad off the sound folks at Fingal Sports. He also said he'd throw in 100 shells as courtesy. Not a bad deal for a fine piece a machinery :D

they also come with the optima HP chokes which throw lethal patterns. Only downside is that you only get 3chokes instead of the useual 5.
The kick-off works wonders with heavy loads 3in+. :D

Down in stakelums yesterday..gun handles nicely but the timbers not great in it... i went out this morning with a bloke who was kind enough to let me use his.. exceptionally well grained stock and forend, tis a 30" too fell in love with it on the spot.. fired 32 gm shells and a 50gm too:D kick off system well worth the dollars so i rang around bout 10/11 dealers on friday and 1750 seems the average price.. i believe the gun comes with its own case according to a couple of the dealers... never thought to ask what kind

i really like the timber as there isnt much of a shine off it, compared to some other guns its one of the nicest stocks iv seen! as for the case, nothing special really, similar to other beretta cases but its green.

Dull or shiney does not bother me its all about the grain.. and well the grain in that particular gun isnt great
