    Just looking through the local weather station's records and the last time there was any proper rain here was the 13th of April, there hasnt been a cloud in the sky for the majority of those three weeks either!

    Today, sunny but cooler than of late with a max of only 15.5C, strong SE breeze.

    Out in the west, the main fire around Dungloe has finally been brought under control but theres still serious fires around Ardara and Falcarragh. You can see the big black area in the centre-west that has been destroyed. Rain tomorrow should finally help

    Its been a dry and bright day in Castlebar and having looked at the radar a few times today i dunno how it managed to stay dry!! A little cooler than of late in a gusty SE'LY.

    Think the met.ie radar might be inverted..steady enough rain in Clondalkin but clear on the radar!
    Some effect no doubt interfering..raintoday is showing rain here though.

    Dull cloudy and damp in Waterford City. Small amount of rain ( 1.2mm) since midnight but fine now. Temp is currently 12.8c with a southerly wind at 16km/h

    Met Eireann are doing maintenance on the Dublin Airport radar for most of this month hence it not showing your rain. Raintoday are using the Belfast Radar so its more accurate than Met.ie at the moment.

    Persistent light rain here all day but about 10 minutes ago there was a sudden burst of torrential rain which was strange

    14C, miserable day but the rain is badly needed so I can't complain
