hello all just to let all know, theres a poll in animals and pets forum, on fox hunting ban.................

Started 3 months ago, with the last response over 2 weeks ago.

As such discussions (ie. the morality of shooting/hunting) are not permitted here i fail to see the relevance.

while ye're at it theres an after hours thread about making handguns legal/illegal. seems most of afterhours thinks handguns are illegal already and nobody has them in ireland

Not directed at you Garv, but it's a good point if anyone is thinking of doing some light recreational trolling in A&PI that there's an agreement between the two forums regarding trolling

Seen that and the one before it, and the dozens before that on A&PI, N&BW. Sometimes i reply most times i don't bother.

As can be seen from the responses on the AH thread, most of them take the piss out of the topic, while a few try to talk sensibly about it. I would not have my name associated with the "discussion" nor would i try to convince those opposed to firearm ownership that they are "wrong" or mis-informed. Some people need to argue simply to argue, others will disagree with something, firearm ownership in this case, based purely on the collective "flow" of the thread.

If i thought for a moment that it would be a serious discussion then i would gladly respond, but thats not the case.

I'm saying this with the risk of getting shot down by the guys who know all the craic about shooting politics,but,do we need to get drawn into another load of bullsh!t debate,defending ourselves when we are doing nothing wrong. The anti's are at it again,and they're waiting for one of us to slip up and give them ammo for more sh!te legislation so why are we even bothering our arses to entertain them. Be it feral cats,stag hunting,fox hunting,or any kind of ammo for these guys, let's not get into wars of words with each other and just do what we do best. Rational thinking! These types are trying to get us to slip up but lets not! Most of them don't have a clue but they still shout about murdering cute foxes and sweet rabbits because they don't understand how nature works,and how certain species control. Maybe I'm being naive,but sometimes the debates between hunters themselves give the anti's more dirt than they need. Thoughts please...
