Myself and Dev110 spent the evening in search of Foxes.
I had rezero'd to a new box of Hornady 75grain Match ammo today.

We said of instead of trying all my permissions we would try Dev's.
We were out for hours and we say nothing of any interest.
Finally we came upon a fox, he was from shelbourne park.
He stopped just short of 350 yards. I miss judged hold over (forgot I was using a different round as I had shot Last nights fox with 55grains @ ~90 yards from the shoulder.I was well pissed off missing a fox in front of a shooter a good few years younger than myself.

I said, "lets head back to my permissions for one final crack at it"

(what I really meant was to regain some composure)

I was not a mile from home when we spotted a pair of eyes in a place I know like the back of my hand.
I did not chance the LF170 again as it is hard to synchronise when time is of the essence.

I switched on the P7 LED LENSER and from 103 yards I fired 75 gain's of Hornady's Finest Match ammo at him.

Now, i had seen what a Boat Tailed Hollow Point had done to a Fox before out of Paulos Tikka Masala @ 216 yards when hit in teh lungs.
When hit central Body mass...... (well all I can say Bernie wrong would be VERY HAPPY :D )

Suffice it to say, BTHP will Kill Foxes no Bothers.
Work out your Bullet drop and 75 grains are as good as 55grains on Fox sized Targets.

    2 Foxes in 2 Nights.
Not Legendary, but I am well pleased as they were both on my permissions and that I can whole heartedly recommend 75grain'ers when used correctly & LED LENSER P7 as being the handiest Lamp on the market for Solo use.

Ill take that as a complement coming from the copy, past and link adding champion .
May start carrying a camera and take some photos just for you ;)
You need not worry about as you say my hunting prowess ;) I would reckon i have quiet enough hunting experience to discuss many subjects with out needing to fall back on consulting google .But unlike others i like to conform facts before posting .;)

A bullet does not need to be ballistic tipped to kill a fox. Its more than up for the job been a .223 unlike a micro .204 bullet which has not stood the test of time yet. The 204 could end up in the bin along with the .17 fireball been a barrel burner.
