[April 17th] Rescheduled from 3rd April ITS/MNSCI Pistol Competition

[Apr 17th] I.T.S. in conjunction with M.N.S.C.I. (postponed from April 3rd due to Mother's Day)
PRESENT
A Handgun competition in M.N.S.C.I.
On Sunday 17th April 2011, at 11am
This competition is open to all licensed pistol and handgun shooters, both rimfire and centrefire (separate categories). The competition will be shot as a 5-shot string thus allowing both restricted and unrestricted firearms.

Format: 20yds 5rds Slowfire in 30seconds,reload and shoot again
Score and replace targets
15yds 5rds Timed fire in 20seconds, reload and shoot again
Score and replace targets
10yds 5rds Rapid fire in 10seconds, reload and shoot again
Score and replace targets

Start Condition: Firearm loaded, safety(where applicable) applied
and firearm at low ready (i.e. 45’ down)

Entry fee: €10 (re-entry €5, first re-entry to count for score only).
Money Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category(Subject to more than 10 entrants in each category)
There will also be a fun side competition (format to be finalised)

Registration begins at 10am, first shot at 11am
All rules, regulations, bye-laws and restrictions of M.N.S.C.I. apply.
You must be in possession of a firearms certificate for the firearm you intend to use and proof of insurance must also be produced

Had some god fun today and what a day for it. Sun splitting the trees.

Seen some familiar faces (Grizzly) and some new ones (gunhappy).

Didn't do too bad, and re-entered and got a slight improvement in score, but a better group, which was nice.

Thanks to the ITS lads for organising it and looking forward to the next one.:cool:

Great day, had the weather for it and all, just sorry i didnt get a chance to make it around to chat to everyone. Will have to be more social next time... and shoot better P

Back on days soon, so I hope to get a bit more trigger time and properly test out the new sights I got recently.
