The set from Irish Lifting gives you an extra 40kg of plates and the bar is rated to 300kg.

No information given on the bar from Argos, and I would imagine the there wouldn't be too much between the plates.

Personally I would go with Irish Lifting for two reasons
    • I getting a extra 40kg of weight for an extra €40 which is good value
    • Irish Lifting are an Irish company where Argos is English based

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Irish Lifting other than as a customer!!
