Did you count 1 elephant..2 elephant..? Here I need to do a course to learn how to use that blooming watch. I'd be a FAR better runner if I could just master it :):)

well it was more one, one and a half, two, two and a half and so on :D ahh i just wanted to make sure i went over the 60 as opposed to under the 60. would hate to cheat myself. Yeah you would want to get that sorted before the Olympics you know ;)

The sooner the better they open up an U21 category so I can race with my own generation.

    Anyways back to running stuff...
    Friday may 11th
    5miles
wasn't looking forward to this as legs a bit achy/tired and there seemed to be a bit of a wind out. Once i got out i enjoyed it. Set the watch to clock and kept it at a nice pace that was good and easy.

Thanks for the wave Nules, i don't think the other two saw that it was me.

Question: if you mentioned 4 people and i only saw 3 of ye, please tell me that the other person had left at that point. If not, i'll go get my eyes checked out.:D

    Wednesday 16th may
    1 mile easy, 6x600m* 1 mile easy
    6miles covered.
off i went to the pitches to do this. The 600's were to be done at 5k pace -5 seconds or something along those lines. i have never done a 5k race so i just went by my 5 mile time from raheny which was 43:16. anyway i keyed it in and did a rough estimation to be honest cos i really haven't got a clue. Was aiming to run them at 8:15 first 3 were 8:12 8:12 and 8:06 (no idea what happened there:rolleyes:) last 3 i slowed a good bit 8:19 8:25 8:25 took about 3 min recovery between each. pegged it home quick change and off to yoga not sure how i managed it i was wrecked but thankfully a good stretching class tonight.

Thanks ladies. Was tough session but it's done. Not sure my fitness is quite back yet as breathing was laboured. Leg was grand the usual fine when running stiff afterwards despite lots of stretching.

    Thursday 17th may
    5 miles slowwwwwww
Had no problem keeping this slow well actually never have a problem keeping them slow :o legs felt tight. Went to the park after work to do it so most done on grass.
