    Thats a good idea, why does it only have to be 2 teams? 3 teams on a game of domination with 3+ flags would be mayhem.

    or 3 team S&D, 2-3 players per team.

    Bring back 1V1 cage matches, let boosters do what they want in them, stop wrecking other games.

    Yeah, not gonna lie... 3 teams sounds insane !!! GIEF !!! The spawn system would need a major overhall tho.

    how will 3/4 teams stop people camping?..i just dont see the logic in how a extra team will stop camping :confused: i thought about 3 teams before it seems a good idea

    if they bring back 1 claymore but 2 noobtubes then good god they need to seek help :S


    also i think they should bring back weapon challenges like actualy make you work for your attachments that kept the game more interesting, cod points was stupid, one reason why black ops has gotten boring (still my favourite cod)

    Hey, first time poster on this forum. Some of these suggestions might have been mentioned already.

    1. I'd like second chance to be gone, and re-introduce stopping power, but put it in the same perk slot as sleight of hand.

    2. I'm not a fan of the cod point system so I'd like it to be reverted to the way it was. In saying that, I'm a huge fan of wager matches, but I'd play them whether there is money involved or not. If people are in favour of cod points, then I think the attachment system needs to be re-jigged. Rather than being able to buy everything straight away, you have to do the gun challenges to unlock attachments for purchase.

    3.The obvious sorting out of spawn points.

    4.I'd like the snipers to be improved, but I feel that if stopping power is brought in then that would help a lot.

    5.One thing I liked in MW2 was that you gained your titles and emblems through challenges. I think they should do that with titles, and then keep the customizable emblem.

    6.More incentive to prestige, e.g. new camos with each prestige.

    7.One thing that bugged me in black ops is that all ghost ppl wore a ghillie suit. I think that should be exclusive to snipers.

    Edit: I'd also like sabotage to be 20 mins long again, 10 mins is way too short. Cod4 remains my favorite call of duty simply because all I played was sabotage. 20 mins make for epic games.

    Well yep.. as many have already said here, an improved version of cod4 is what I would love to see. I know thats what mw2 was meant to be but somewhere along the way they got a bit lost. I think with so many ideas floating around they overcomplicated it.
    I still think the infinity ward games are on a different planet to the treyarch ones and every once in a while I put on cod4 to reassure myself that cod4 was the best... always without fail.
    The playability was just so much better than anything after it and the guns were consistant.
    I can't play black ops for very long because i get so infuriated by the random power certain guns have from one minute to the next.
    e.g. Playing black ops lastnight I walked right up behind a noob and free aimed 9 rounds from an m16 into his back. Not only did he survive but he managed to turn and knife me before the next burst???
    So I run back up and put myself in the same position and kill him with 3 rounds???
    For me, that's Black ops in a nutshell...

    Bring back Arcade Mode fro COD4, its fun playing the single player levels and having +100 pop up for every kill, after playing multiplayer for so long theres been a few times I've wondered if a guy is dead cos I didnt see +100 appear lol

    What to get rid

    Get rid of anything that removes you from radar eg ghost
    claymores
    Noob tubing
    Anything that even resembles last chance

    What I would improve
    Spawning has to be one of the most frustrating things in black ops
    Better match fixing
    Alot better graphics
    HAVE DEDICATED SERVERS

    Some randoms
    To stop camping introduce a method that the players can only stay in one position for a set amount of time

    Introduce new weapons over time. If your like me you get really bored of the current weapons quickly and an ideal moment to introduce the new weapons would of been with first strike

    I said I want to get rid of ghost etc but I got another idea and that would be is keep the likes of ghost but you would come visible if the enemy team launches 2-3 spy planes together

    That's all I can think of at the moment

    I'd say have an average speed statistic or distance travelled for all game modes included.

    If you have low speed and distance then you'll at least know who was camping or afk. Have a Total Time Static could also work. Time spent near objective would also have to be included just incase people "camped" near B dom or the HQ. There should be separation between camping and defending/capping.

    At the very least it'll "out" perennial campers and embarass them to maybe change their ways.

    Plus Floyd will have more stats to incessantly spout rather than just K/D, W/L, fave weapons, killstreaks. Hmmm, Campers or more waffle from Floyd, that's a toughie.

    Just NO towards your getting rid of ghost idea. I've been using uav jammer/cold blooded/ghost since I first started playing COD. As far as I'm concerned, just put it in a slot where people wont want to sacrafice something else, e.g. sleight of hand/stopping powr.

    That's a fantastic way of dealing with campers. At the end of a game, ppl would be able to see if you camped to win or used skills. Really really good idea.

    thats internet connection, some bullets missing your target and chance in a nutshell...black ops has been the best connection wise for me by miles..for me

    Speaking about K/D. I presume in BOPS, like in MW2 and COD4 the big killstreaks also count towards your K/D ratio.

    If they want to keep it in the game, I'd love to see them implement the K/D ratio as per gun and melee kills only and NOT artillery killstreaks. No clue if it's possible to implement or not.

    To hell with the dogs. I want five flesh eating zombies to jump out of a booby-trap care-package when an enemy tries to take it... that instantly kills him, and any infects any enemy within 5 seconds run from the care-package with some sort of woozy virus that makes their vision blur, turn different colours, and kills them after 20 seconds if someone else doesn't kill them first :pac:

    AC130s can be shot down, 3 stingers missles and down they go, if you have SOH on you can take them out in seconds.

    For snipers give them a better 2nd weapon, something like a shotgun would be great and it would be only available to snipers

    Certainly wont be getting a new game engine, i doubt they'll even modify the current one.


    You know what actually anoys me in MW2, is how long it takes to call in a UAV compared to black ops :D Seems like forever.

    You realise there are over 10 million people that play CoD... and maybe only a few thousand that actually make sniping montages... so yeah... the chances of you running into those sort of players regularly isn't really that high :)


    Seriously... i have a suggestion for you... go play Battlefield :)

    I don't really get annoyed when it comes to Black Ops. I don't really take it seriously, I just play it for fun with friends. I'll never be as good as half the people on here, but I'm okay with that.

    The only thing that really frustrates me on Black Ops at the moment is Second Chance/Last Stand. I reload after every kill and it frustrates me to be killed by a single pistol shot after I have killed someone fair and square. It's especially annoying in Search and Destroy.

    The only other thing I can think of is knifing. It seems fairly broken to me. I mean sometimes I can knife somebody first and they would still knife me first. I know I can't be sure I knifed them first, but I don't think knifing works like it should.

    I hope they keep the Combat Record for MW3. I love it, I really do. I played MW2 a few days ago and it was weird not having a Combat Record or something similar.

    Seriously... i have a suggestion for you... go play Battlefield :)

    Oh I do, at least in battlefield or MOH snipers actually snipe as opposed to the dickin about that "snipers" use in COD. On the other hand rushing / running and gunning is more fun in COD the only drawback is that I have to put up with people trying to use snipers at pistol type ranges. IMO if a class has an intended or specific type of play in mind and nearly no one ends up using it for that intended style of play then do away with it.

    Like the shotguns as an attachment, next to no one uses them - they use dedicated shotguns instead so I can guarantee the attachment shotgun will not be in the next COD. The same can be said for OMA and tubes, they clearly arent being used in the intended way and wont be back also.

    Just my opinion but the game as a whole would benefit with no "snipers" or if people actually sniped but seeing as thats just too hard for them then just take the class out altogether.

    Fact is... its a game... i dont know how many times i've had this discussion on here but seriously(if i wasnt so bored at work i wouldn't be replying :) )... Just look at most other successful MP shooters and their sniper classes..

    Halo - You can snipe up close and run around quickly
    Counterstrike - you can snipe up close and move around quickly (Best MP shooter ever made from which cod draws alot from.. sniping in cs is more powerful than in MW2)
    TF2 - you can shoot up close and move around quickly
    UT - you can snipe up close and move around quickly
    BF series - you CAN shoot up close aswel !! Almost as good as you can in black ops ffs.
    Day of Defeat - same as the rest

    The CoD games are not simulators.. if you want ARMA styled realism... play ARMA, the cod franchise is not going to change just to satisfy a few realism nutjobs. I don't even get why you hate the sniping in CoD.. if you don't snipe yourself then why would you care ? Anyone sniping in blackops is already putting themselves at a disadvantage to SMG/AR users... they should be easy kills unless you suck or they're really good.. in which case it doesnt matter if they're using a sniper or not because if you cant beat them when they're sniping you certainly wont beat them using any other gun.

    The only other thing i can say is THANK FOOK you arent developing MW3.. because that would be one terrible game :)

    See your missing the point, while you CAN run around like a tool in all these games attempting shots at shotgun range with a class designed for extreme long range - no other game with a sniper class has such and issue like QS than COD. In fact in an average night of playing I will see at least x2 people in every match QS and yet in any given night I will not see anyone actually using the class as its meant to be - SNIPING.

    In fact since MW2 came out I can only recall seeing and being in a few games with what anyone could call actual snipers as opposed to the other games you listed which in any given game you can find multiple people actually using a sniping class for ... shock horror.. sniping! lol. :)

    lol, I facerape QS tools daily tbh. I mostly run SMGs or ARs so their essentially free XP for me but the thing is it unbalances the game. Example - 6v6 game but x2 people one one team are QS , it leaves that team at a major disadvantage as they are bleeding points.
    There in is the issue though, sure they make for easy targets / XP but if I wanted "easy" kills simply for kills sake I'd mod, I dont cause I want a fair, balanced and challenging game.... not one thats littered with people fanny acting trying to use a gun for a completely unintended and opposite purpose leave the game balance in tatters.
    I'm sure you'll agree the best COD games are close, hard fought , down to the wire games that really push you... quick scopers do not deliver that.


    A prime example of how a class should be used thats not "the norm" would be the riot shield class, when you see them in the field they are doing exactly what the class was designed for.. distraction and breaking through defense points... and likewise when you get them in a game that one player actually adds a lot to the gameplay and flow of that specific match while in most cases for the better. You get those "ah sh*t , lob a nade and try flank" moments when you come across a shield user slowly pacing towards you. You may win or loose the engagement BUT it definitely was fun.

    Now thats what a game should be like when a class is used as its intended... "snipers" dont use the class as its intended and as a result dont add to the game like the above example and only serve as free xp which isnt fun at all.


    I'll end with a question... Do you find quick scopers difficult to kill? (based on how you are as a player I would imagine not) Do you think they are effective players?That being said... would you like cod littered with people that are easy kills / not challenging or would you prefer more games to come down to the wire more often because the opposition are actually using classes as intended and ether not dragging their team down or giving you a challenge.

    I just wanna be able to play combat training and splitscreen on the PS3 without having to be connected to the internet :(

    what gob****e designed it so the "offline" multiplayer modes needed an internet connection...
