    Don't be worried about asking questions, it's all good! :D If you click on your friend list on the 3ds (with orange smiley face), you will see who's online at the moment, along with their favourite title and a personal message. Letterbox is a great app to exchange messages and drawings beyween friends, it's great fun once you get the hang of it. You can find it on the eShop. :)

    You have to both add each other, if they just add you, you will not receive any notification of this, and you won't be able to play/send messages.

    If you do a system transfer, it stays the same, I'm on my 3rd 3ds and still on my same original FC. :)
