As feral goats are not protected under the Wildlife Act 1976, and have no season they fall under the heading of vermin. Vermin can be shot all year round with no licenses, and as per my understanding lke foxes, can be shot under lamp.

An e-mail to the NWPS would give a definitive answer so please do not take my say so as "Gospel". Also make sure the land they are shot on is covered under your permissions and that they are infact feral goats.

As per Glenman's statment on another thread you have to be so careful, and as i have said before they are feral when one farmer wants them shot, and family pets/livestock when another farmer does not want them shot.
