    Sorry for the bump but it's on Netflix now.

    I remember watching the trailer years ago and thinking to myself it looks like a steaming pile of crap.....all these years later I can confirm that to be the case.

    Just an aside, Dumb and Dumber is by no means a classic but the beauty of that film is that the joke is solely on the two lead characters in the vein of the 3 stooges. This sequel unfortunately forgets that and takes swing at a lot of people only to miss the mark woefully. The film tries to negate that by taking the piss out of Harry and Lloyd, only this time they replace their harmless buffoonery with a more mean spirited angle. Case in point, it's ok that they take the piss out of the body of an aging woman because, spoiler,
    our two buffoons are in fact virgins all this time.

    Daniels and Carrey are lucky this wasn't made a couple of years later as it would have been a career ender. I can only assume they, and Kathleen Turner, were hard up for a bit of cash.

    Rob Riggle was a highlight. He just seemed happy to be there and play it reasonably straight to counteract the main duo's tour de force in overacting badly.
