Custom Muzzle Break.

Have traded in the Sauer for a semi-custom Remmy, and the muzzle break belonging to the Sauer will not be going on the new rifle.

It is a custom piece made by Fergal White specifically for the Sauer although it will fit any rifle that has a 1/2" UNF thread. It is a Titanium piece, specifically drilled to get maximum effect while loosing none of the accuracy. It is also bored for a 30 cal rifle although, again, any caliber will work with it.

It brings felt recoil of a 30-06 down to that of a .243 or even lower. Eliminates muzzle flip and helps significantly with follow through and target retention. As its Titanium it weighs next to nothing and does not effect barrel weight.

These cannot be bought in any shops, and are once of pieces deisgned and made per customer by Fergal White. Looking €225 ovno.

Yes.

There is 1/8" difference between the two which is 3.1mm. Thats enough to "bore" out the exsting thread and rethread it to suit the 5/8" thread.

I would trade the break for an Ase, Wildcat/Predator mod in .308 cal. Must have a 5/8" thread. That may suit someone better.

Of course all offers considered.

Got thinkng about this so was talking to Figgy, and he says he can rethread the break, cut to make sure the break is flush with the barrel and thread the barrel itself all in one sitting.

The Father is not worried about noise reduction, its more recoil reduction. The break has him spoilt and now firing the .308 without a break he thinks its bad because it reduced the recoil of the 30-06 so much.

Solves two problems. No longer has to sell the break, and gets his new rifle the way he wants it. Happy out.
