    hi all

don't be fooled by the handy pancake mix..add milk and shake..
it was a disaster and all lumpy

2 pancakes out of it in the end..

    2 ffs

It is not my cooking skills because when i make my own pancakes they never stick to the pan, three ended up cremated on the pan..

as for number 4 & 5 yum yum with Nutella..

    sorry none for sharing :p

    Hey,

I read yesterday on the interweb thing (they have it on computers now you know) that Maxi is 61 but will not be returning to the morning slot on Radio Eireann.

I'm sure she'd be welcome to visit us here in the parlour. There might even be scones.

Of course she would be welcome! Will you make the scones cml?

cold still here.. no pain just lots of tissues needed and my voice has lost it's huskiness.. so there might be hope ..

Tesco had a 3 for 2 and I bought Nutella, Golden Syrup and pancake mix.

It was very sweet and pretty yuck all round..

Was too lazy to go measuring and stirring :o

For those of ye who like to listen to a bit of music while you surf there is a radio show about to start (at 10 o'clock on http://live.liffeysoundfm.ie/ ) Click the link and turn up yer hearing aids. There are two reasons to listen tonight.
First is that it's a tribute show to two musicians - friends - who are no longer with us. Not that that means anything to ye but I thought I'd give a little background.
Secondly, the show is going to be mostly the music of Charlie Bird Parker.
Jazz at it's most sublime, soft. soothing, rich and inventive.

Go on, treat your ears to something beautiful.
EDIT: I take no responsibility for any shows you might hear before 10 o'clock or after midnight. Local radio is varied at best.

Fancy meeting you in here :pac:

only discovered this forum last night, and have been doin' a little bit of lurking. I was in another forum earlier on this evening where a female poster was asking if anyone knew of any clubs she could join for over 45s. I wanted to direct her over here as she might get better responses, but thought she might think I was being cheeky :D

    /continues nosing about :)

I notice that "text speak" is banned, whatever that is.

And while mention of the drink that from now on must be referrred to as the "German Drink" is banned,no ban is in place for it's twin sister B***k T***r.

But B***k T***r should have been banned/burned/blasted at its' inception..

I say we should ban all mention of the unmentionables :D

I tend to keep the pipe for outdoors. You are more likely to be smelling the aroma of my rather fine cigar in here. :)

Morning all. A fine sharp bright morning out there. Wish I was retired so I could get out there and enjoy it.

Who's for a glass of Blue Nun !!!!???

The Charter states that if the above anti freeze is ever mentioned in this forum, you will be banned.
If I make an exception for you, others will think I'm going soft in my auld age and we cannot have that happening.

As this is your first offence, I was going to ban you for a few hours, unfortunately the Mod CP only does one day and up, so I am requesting that you ban yourself for one hour.

This is me being really, really, really, really nice.

Next usage of above said anti freeze will result in more severe measures.
Don't say that ye all haven't been warned!

    /Edit
BTW Mr. Goat, I like the change of thread title.
    It pleases me.
