I was about to JB it until I read that on the auction, the price is nuts but less than ten make it worth biggage buckage.

Well if its near mint or restored I'd say they are looking for a museum to buy that, no private collector is going to pay that much

I was sure that I'd played a sit down version of chase hq before though .... surely one of those 10 weren't in Ireland?

I was reading Retrogamer yesterday and there's an article about a rare white original Outrun Delux cab. The guy says he doesn't know where it came from. Funnily enough though, it has 'Made in Ireland' on the back.

So who knows, maybe Ireland had some top secret driving cab factory :D

If there really was only 10 of them made then I reckon it would be unlikely it found its way over here and into your local arcade. Was probably the one below most of us played?

A mate of mine who works in the industry has one for sale but I assume its a stand up one.
I was only talking to him on Saturday about it and he is clueless (so he says) about the price of cabs.
I told him I would sell it for him.
Any ideas what a stand up one would go for.
    Cheers.

    Thats ridiculous Enternow!
You should be ashamed of yourself, trying to take advantage of someones retro-gaming ignorance...

Tell your friend I'll give him a fiver and a *very rare* copy of Fifa International Soccer for the Megadrive! ;)

That's not the one, it's a white sit down cab. The guy that bought it didn't expect to get it since he didn't think it even existed. Thought he was getting a standard sit down one I think or else a Outrun converted cab?

    Here's the normal one:

The one he got was white and was modelled differently.

You could buy an actual Porsche 911 for that price. Madness.

Yeah, but can you ram the car into bad guys whilst using nitrous boost & all the while being followed by a helicopter with a machine gun? I think not...well maybe once :D

Well, if you had $1 million to spare, you could spend it two ways on new Porsche goods:
    Either
    • "The Porsche 918 Spyder, which is powered by a hybrid drivetrain that delivers almost as much power as a modern Formula One car, accelerating the two-seat drop-top to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds on the way to a top speed of 320km/h.
Despite its explosive performance the Porsche 918 Spyder is claimed to use an average of 3.0 litres of fuel per 100km, or 23 per cent less than the Toyota Prius.
      OR
    • This retarded advent calendar.
Standing two meters tall and rendered from brushed aluminum, the "calendar" looks more like a sophisticated art installation than a festive timetable. But it's behind the 24 luminous windows -- representing each December day before Christmas -- that the real surprises are hidden.
They include a pair of 18 carat gold sunglasses, aluminum fountain pens, a lambskin jacket, a limited edition chronograph watch, a customizable designer kitchen and, to crown it all, a luxury eight-meter yacht.

I've been looking for a Chase HQ cabinet for a long time. I'm very interested in buying it. Please let me know if it's available.

Yeah it's a great port on the saturn. If there's a port of a 2D arcade game it's usually perfect on it.

You know there's something wrong with you when you find the lack of a NES and jamma merch more shocking than the Japanese Schoolgirl cosplay.

Im pretty sure they had a chase HQ in the bowling alley in palmerstown, i remember playing it years ago alongside the simpsons, wwf, world rally, street fighter 2, mortal kombat, virtua fighter, gemeni wing, pang, tetris. holy cr*p its been years since i was in there and i just remembered nearly every game from the place.. mis-spent youth. They are 3 large screen sit down machines for Streetfighter2.
