I haven't really given many of the SMGs much of a go to be honest. I had the 74u on my rushing class at the start, but have become fond of the Famas/silencer these days.

Might spend some time trying out different ones over the weekend.

Do ye guys use Lightweight on your rushing classes?

I have it on my default Dom class (Lightweight, Warlord and Marathon) but often run with Flak Jacket instead if grenades are flying.

    Playing MW2, heres my class of the moment;
    MP5K silenced,
    Spas 12 extended mags/grip,
    Flashbangs,
    Claymore,

Perks: Marathon Pro, Stopping Power Pro, Steady Aim Pro
    Killstreaks: UAV,Counter UAV and Predator

I use spas as primary, this is such a beast class. Seriously try it!

Yes, it's cheap.... but boy oh boy is it hella fun :D:D

    Game Type: Domination
    Play Style: Enemy Flag attack

    Primary Weapon: spas12
    Attachments: Silencer
    Secondary: Dual Pythons

    Lethal: Semtex
    Tactical: Concussion
    Equipment: Claymore

    Perk1: Ghost Pro
    Perk2: Steady Aim Pro
    Perk3: Marathon Pro

What fun..... I got a quad kill on stadium.
I was on the B flag amidst smoke. Almost the entire opposing team ran in to take it without spotting me. I just started spinning and shooting. Killed 5 of the feckers in an instant...... Awesome!!!

Was using this in free for all (which I very rarely play) in nuketown and summit/firing range games of dom.

Spectre & extended mags. I outshoot and outlast most other opponents plus 45 rounds in a fast firing smg is lethal for killing small to large groups up close. Rapid fire requires too many reloads. Plus I found i'd overkill an individual and leave the person(s) behind wounded & alive whilst I reloaded or changed gun.
Cz75 & extended mags. With a full clip and surprise I can generally kill 3+ from the spectre and 2 with the cz75. Pythons aren't great for killing large groups but are best suited to individuals.

Lightweight Pro. Need speed to close the distance to favour me. Plus I tend to get to enemies before teammates and pick up more kills.
Steady Aim Pro. Accurate hipfiring plus faster shooting from sprinting. When I used rapid fire I used sleight of hand, but I'd often find enemies using second chance dropping s**** secondaries not good primaries. I changed back to get the benefit of the faster knive recovery.
Marathon Pro. You can move like the wind and get to B dom before enemies and often surprise a large group coming from their spawn.

Semtex - generally don't use semtex but since I'll be moving fast, I would prefer not running around with a cooking grenade but a gun out.
Concussion for tdm or willy pete for dom or to give me a chance at flanking. You can see better into the cloud of smoke than out of it.
Jammer- annoys the hell out of people (and parties) and stops claymores from getting me or teammates.

I tend to stay around B/C dom as these are generally closer in the smaller maps so I play to my strengths.

Another one I was using is this mad class for big open maps and for games of dom where the spectre class was never going to work.

M16 & Infrared. I started using the M60 with infrared on dom just because I wanted to mess and sorta liked it but I was crap since I just held the trigger down looking for white blobs and shooting at the white blob till I killed it or I died. It gives the M16 a greater range and causes people to change their play style, trying to cap with ghost not flak jacket. One thing I regret is not having another class with ACOG m16 to force the ghosts opponents to change back.
Cz75 & extended mags. I needed a gun for up close and personal and got used to this secondary fairly easily.

Ghost Pro. My thinking here is that since I'm vulnerable to fast flankers and can often be looking at a blue/white scope, ghost will give me that little bit of protection from them and spyplanes. Shoot and scoot.
Hardened Pro. You often see bits of enemies in the scope so hardened stops them using cover if the first few rounds don't kill. Plus if I'm getting shot my shots back are accurate.
Marathon Pro. I don't tend to be pushing into the enemy's spawn so hacker isn't needed and I'll be primarily a defensive midfield player so speed is essential to cover our domination points from capture and to move away quickly from the last area I was firing from.

Frag. Bigger explosion than semtex plus cookable.
Willy pete as it's dom but I should use nova gas since in domination games as people who run ghost classes generally don't use tactical mask (mostly flak jacket users) and it means I can deny the opposition from capping a point easily. If there are 3 opponents capping a point, 1 might have tac mask but I doubt 3 so that forces the other 2 off or seriously impeeds them.
Claymore. If I'm going to be leaving a red dot on the enemy radar I can make sure I use advantageously.

It's very specialised and honestly useless for most game types where ghost is very common but in dom where people tend to run flak jackets it serves a purpose.

I've noticed that from playing domination in full parties I've changed style of play where I used to take as many points as possible I've now changed to defending them simply because
    a) we can spawn trap them effectively as a team,
    b) the enemies generally aren't killing us more than them and
    c) we want the game to go on longer.
