A nice early dinner, you don't want to be too full, in fact I find the whole idea of "lining your stomach" to be complete nonsense.

Boiled, roast or mashed spuds: potatoes contain flavonoids and starches. Chips aren't as effective.

Nothing. Dont eat the whole day. Youll get drunk faster, save money..

    ..and have an awful hangover

Having a nap before you go on the lash is much more effective.

I've found a nice Sambo with the following ingredients to be the best (for a heart attack)

White bread smothered in laughing cow
    2/3 sausages
    one runny egg
and a nice cuppa tea always does the job !!

I thought valentines was more of a dinner and a few glasses of wine occasion, not a full on session!

A couple of McDonalds double cheeseburgers. Quick enough to eat that they don't get in the way of drinking much, and they're good and greasy.

    Man up.

Learn how to hold your drink

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 701 ✭✭✭Cathaoirleach

Portion of frozen spinach (2 mins in the micro). Lots of brocolli with cheese (3 mins in micro), and some pasta for stodge.

Don't forget those pints of free tap water throughout the night.

I'm always the last man standing.

Next morning, porridge and bananas with a large glass of tomato juice and plenty of water. What hangover?

You cant claim to be last man standing if your drinking water between rounds ffs.

Totally. I get completely rat-arsed, but not the point of throwing up or falling over. It's a matter of preparing your stomache for the evening with healthy food and getting the odd pint of water in during the night. Simple as.

Take a pints of water at intervals through the night and drink more water when you get home.

Dinner or tea. Bread/sandwich/toast and cup of tea is great before drinking. I try not to drink on an empty stomach unless I know that food be prompt when served a drink. If going out then I always eat something before heading out for a drink.

I usually do the lash first and then line her stomach !!!

    Wayyyy Heyyy!!!!

translation : I engage in intercourse(lash) and ejaculate inside her (stomach)

    Thanks for listening.

I find, white bread, Yop or a McFlurry (the only thing I'll eat from McDonald's) are good soakage.

I read somewhere that KFC or any type of southern fried chicken is best before you go on the lash.

Something to do with the grease and stuff that's in the chicken.

The most important thing to avoid a hangover.

Rest, what contributes to a hangover is say on Friday, getting up at 7, full day of college, head home, hit the beer nightclub and not in bed till 5. This causes exhaustion this topped off with dehydration and your drink give you the hangover.

So take a nap from 5-8, eat some spuds, drink some milk. Have 2 pints of water then hit the beer! Then when you get home drink another 2 pints of water and DO NOT eat anything.

    Then you will survive.

Although not drinking at all would save you all this hassle but we are only stupid humans who don't learn at the end of the day:D

    Eating is cheating!!

Anyway, I usually try eat a small meal before going out nothing worse than being stomached for the first few pints.

Water between rounds, thats awful carry on, A jameson here and there is a much better option.

Dont know how people can eat stuff like bananas and cereal after being on the beer, I couldnt look at healthy food. Big fry's, brekkie rolls or hot chicken rolls are whats required after a nights drinking washed down with lucozade and water.
