I was in Harvey Norman's a few months back. Strolling around having a look at sofa's (Should have gone to DFS, they were having a sale ya know)
I sat down on one and found an envelope with well over a grand in it. ****in' conscience got the better of me so I went looking for a manager to give it to. On the way I overheard a man reefing his wife out of it for dropping in and her frantically checking the sofa she'd sat on....The relief on her face when I handed it to her.
Heaven here I come.....


Anyway.....I lost over a grand in Ikea.....It's mine.

I thought the general rule was that when you hand in cash like that, that they keep it for so long in case owne turns up. IF they dont turn up, they give it back to finder.

If I was the OP, I would send friend in for the cash after a number of days.
