    One of the new Lithuanian riders. Sam Bennett finished inside the top 30 not far behind.

    Holy sh1t.... that was some speed the bunch were going at last night towards the end....

    Cancellarra was giving it socks up front....!

    Amazingly boring route tho... just one big long flat desert road....

    yeah, there isnt much in term of spectacle. They just go staright and fast. I think
    Cav's crash
    in the prologue was probably all there will be.

    I don't follow the Pro-cycling,but is it not an embarresment that there is no spectaters lining the route??I remember the TDF here in Ireland back in the day and the route was lined with people,even the Nissan Tours had loads of people out on the side of the road here.Is the Tour of Qatar just all about apperance money to the teams??Damn the fact the locals dont care???

    Yeah, he got a lot of air time. Dolan bikes got a major shout out as well.

    Yep, fair play to him and the team; great exposure for sure.
    The breakaway was particularly disadvantaged by the course though, a 6km or thereabouts loop up and down a dual-carriageway made it very easy for the chasers to keep very close tabs on them.
    There were a few green jerseys in view up towards the sharp end at the sprint too.
