This all sounds a ways over my head, the contruction anyway.
This looks like it could be the Mame cab to be drooled over, so I'll keep the wipes handy!

Once it doesn't go over my head we'll be fine.
Looking at the controls now i think i'll have to make a few small design changes, update to come.

Great programme I must get it so I can do interior designs quicker than normal CAD.
As for reprogramming it does it Pytha have the same file systems as CAD because it is quite easy to modify the command structure and general running settings in CAD

Ouch, so you're on a go slow re the drawing side of it. Good luck with it.:D

    Pencil & A4 pad out :D

Now that i have all the parts together space is gonna be tight! & the controls are gonna be about 80m closer to the floor than i wanted, but no matter we'll drive on

There's been a few design changes in the past hour, I realized that in order to see the screen correctly from the couch i need to angle it, Optimum viewing angle is 70mm off horizontal (i've no intention of working out the exact angle).

The design of the bottom half has also developed a bit, Gonna be a chunky top on 2 chunky legs instead of the box on box in my drawings.
    2 reasons for this:
    1) The whole thing look wrong when i had 2 make the top deeper
    2) Easier to access the CPU when the whole thing is assembled

On a more positive note, CNC code for the top has been written, Too many rebates on top of each other for our usual software to do it for me (Man 1 - Computer 0 :D). Gonna head into work an hour early in the morning and cut it out. Will post progress pic's when i've a chance.

If you make a screw adjustable mount for the screen, you an fiddle with it til its right.

Started work last night, just have the top machined.
I had to compromise between a perfect viewing angle & comfortable controls, unfortunately in order to get both the coffee table would have to have been almost 600mm high :o

The screen is almost flat but the controls are at a comfortable height. Luckily if i'm sat on the lower couch the viewing angle will be almost spot on :D

Gonna hopefully get the control drawer worked out today so i'm still on target for paint saturday

    So, you a carpenter?
Or do you always have those skills and tools just "lying around"?

    Dammit!
I should have done Woodwork instead of Physics and Chemistry!

Wouldn't exactly describe myself as a full on carpenter, main part of my job is the computer side of things (CAD & the CNC's) although i am pretty handy with a hammer if i need 2 be :D

Had a change of mind with the color this morning, going for white and red instead, the orange wasnt doing it for me (and i got some red LED's that i need to find a home for :D)
