i use my beretta a400 for clays and it is a deadly job.
out of your selection i would go with the excelent winchester sx3. cheap and ultra reliable.

You say you want a sporting clay gun but you have listed a few trap models.
What type of clay shooting are you doing. ie TRAP or SPORTING. etc ?
If you want an all round gun you should get an o/u sporting multichoke with 30inch barrels. This type of gun will be fine for all types of clays.
If you only plan on shooting trap then get a trap gun.
I would rather buy a good second hand browning or beretta than a new lesser known brand.

Almost. Go for the 682E Sporting. Cheaper and just as good.

ye it is a lovely gun to shoot, absolutly no recoil and the ported barrel really reduces muzzel flip. i was thinking of getting one with the walnut stock but then i seen the beretta a400 and had to get one.

Miroku knows how to make a good gun and it makes most of the over-unders in the Browning range . The M38 is based on a proven Browning design, the Superposed/B25 .

The gas and inertia operated guns are relatively soft shooting and you will be shooting quite a lot, think flats not boxes of cartridges.

The 391 is a great gun to get started shooting clay games, reliable, easily repairable and will hold its value.
You will not go wrong if your choice is a 682.

I love the Browning Citori. Simply a beautiful gun. Very pointable and fast swinging.

The Winchester SX3 is also a great gun. It shoots fast and handles nice.

I would also consider the Benelli SBE.

€3200 is an absolute rip off. i priced it in mourne shooting grounds in monaghan at just over €2000. the sx3 can also be got for less than €1300

There is a second hand Blaser F3 in Atlantic Sports Carlow, was looking at it a few weeks ago. It felt a very nice gun to handle. Has anyone had any experience with them?

got that from griffin hawe in athy.and duffys in galway
i was bit surprised to hear what they quoted me,cause on the benelli page the super sport is $2069 thats €1511,less than half what they quoted me here.(€3200)
the super x3 sporting on the winchester hame page is $1629 €1190 so €1300 isnt that bad
the flanigun exebition is even cheaper at $1479 thats €1080

€1511 would be an awesome price for the supersporter. if dealers sold them here at that price i would get one in the morning.:D

shot the SuperSport. Feels like a toy- ZERO recoil. :D

As EZ said I Would also recommend the 682 gold e. I have one in 30" barrels. these are a Great investment, I've dusted a lot of clays and game with mine and all it has done is go up in value each year!

I was in the shop I bought it in for cartridges and the fella said he would give me £400 more than I paid- he never asked what I paid or the condition!

If your budget is €1500, I would rcomeend the Bettinsoli Supersport o/u. I have been shooting one of these 6 years now for all my clay shooting. I think they are being overlooked there not a cheap gun/just good value:)

She is a good solid gun 30 inch barrells you can shoot all day with it. Dont knock the Lanber sporter, a young chap I shoot with on occasion beat a registered shooter for €150 with one back in the summer. Another solid gun:)

Best of luck with what you go for,
By The Way €50 will buy you a ticket with a chance to win a Beretta 687 in the Drumconrath Gun club draw valued at 2,300 or there abouts. Contact Louis Tighe, limited to 150 tickets.

you could always buy the gun minus the stock and pick up a lefthanded stock from somewhere.. or go down the custom stock route..

hey im a lefty too, i shoot a browning cynergy sporter. no cast at all on the stock at all. There are 3 adjustable cheek pieces -left, -right and straight.
I personaly love the gun, shoot trap, sporting, game and foxes with it.
Very little recoil, ud shoot all day with it and not take a bit off notice
