Knowing my luck they'll DQ him now. :pac:

    Hahaha :pac:

Good win for him there, still can't see him beating Sherk, Sots, he won't fight Guida, Maynard or Edgar.

I'd put any money on him beating sherk if they ever meet

Sherk has an iron jaw and his wrestling is far too good for Guillard to even have a chance in the fight.

I stand by what I said. He's nothing special, better fighters have went a lot worse then 4-0 in the UFC.

I said I didn't know much about Hague, I do forget most of these undercard type fights after a few weeks, but anyone around even the middle of the division will give him a lot of trouble.

Considering his time at the game he is kinda special to be fair, hes improving leaps and bounds every fight, moves great for a big man and with cardio and a serious reach too, can cause big probs for peeps!

I think sherks wrestling is good and he does have an iron jaw but
hes far too slow to cope with the likes of guillard and id see it going
the same way as when he fought edgar.
i think guillard would be just too elusive for sherk.
it's a fight id love to see just to get a similiar price though

So Melvin's put to rest for a while the myth of jackson fighters.

Didn't stay up, was tired but watching it now some good fights. Barry recovered well after losing the first round. McKenzie has hopefully gotten the kick he needs to train seriously, seems to have a lethargic approach " I can submit guys " attitude. Matt looked good against Hague but some of his shots were wild. He needs a tougher stand up test .

Can't wait for next weeks card.

The main event is gonna be a cracker IMO. I never liked Guillard but he seems a new man since he joined Jackson's camp and he was a very exciting guy, but now he's joined Jackson's he's been castrated and has no balls.

    FYP

    Still of this opinion?

Hominick is such a surgical striker. Great to watch.

Really was impressed by him, that was my favorite fight of the card.

Very excited for Aldo vs Hominick now.

LW division is suddenly so interesting. Not that long ago Penn was destroying all comers, then Edgar dethroned him and suddenly there's Edgar, Maynard, Guida, Pettis, Florian, Guillard and Sotiropolous all contenders. Not to mention Aldo considering a move up.

Some interesting title fights over the next year and a half!

Do you really think Guida is in the mix?
I think he's a great fighter, and great to watch (Clay Diefo is one of my all time favs) but I don't think if he is good enough to win the belt.

I wouldn't imagine also will move up before at least a few fights at 145 under the UFC banner (simply down to self promoting). Clay is actually small enough for a LW and has mentioned before about 145 being a weight he can fight at.
I'd like to see clay drop and get a No.1 spot win then fight Aldo

I don't think Guida will win the belt either, but a lot of people would have said the same about Edgar not that long ago.

Whether he's good enough or not, I wouldn't be surprised if he got the shot if he beats Pettis. If he was facing another top contender he might need another win first but I'd say that with Pettis being guaranteed the shot, Guida could steal it if he can get the win.

Great fights. Mitrione is looking much better every time he fights. At the same time, the UFC's heavyweight roster is pretty weak at the moment.

Re: guida. Hes a good fighter, but IMO he's far from good enough to be the best in the world.

BUT...... if he was to beat Pettis convincingly, it'll bring him as close as he's ever been to a title shot! If they decided to give it to him, i personally wouldn't argue. Beating Pettis is no mean feat!

So disappointed that McKenzie did not manage to win by that Guillotine Choke :p
