Get a couple of bottles of wine while watching it too, makes it more surreal. Plus you get to drink :D

    Have you watched it yet?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,739 ✭✭✭✭starbelgrade

Right, here's the plan. First, we go in there and get wrecked, then we eat a pork pie, then we drop a couple of Surmontil-50's each, means we'll miss out on Monday and come up smiling Tuesday morning.

Get some deep heat and cover yourself with it, then stand beside the radiator while you watch it.

If you don't demand to have some booze after watching it there's something wrong with you!

For a film set in the 60's, watch out for the 80's cars in the background when they begin their journey to the countryside

Get as high as possible or it won't be half as good as you expect. Unless you're below 16, in which case, it will be just wonderful.

I really envy you watching it for the first time, OP! If there were 2 films i could watch again for the first time it would be this and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but you definitely need to be ****-faced for that one...

"We shall buy this place, and we'll install a f*cking jukebox in here!"

Great film, the final scene never fails to encourage me to 'get something in my eye'
