Thanks. I got sick of reminding people.

Anyone who's sharing Kelly Brook, Tina Fey, Noel Fielding, these people are attractive! I'm looking for the cruddiest, most cringe-worthy crushes out there.

Think more Marty Whelan, Less Matt Damon.

    Man crushes:

    Jack Black
    Simon from the Misfits
    Benicio Del Toro
Bill Hicks (though admittedly, that could get messy)
    David Mitchell AND Robert Webb
Leonard from the Big Bang Theory
    Michael C Hall
    Louis Theroux

    Lady crushes:

    Supernanny Jo Frost
    Anne Doyle
    Dawn French

Dunno how weird any of them are, but I probably have a ton more that I can think of.

Ok LOL on the "supernanny Jo Frost" one: "That behaviour is unasssseptable"

Gets me every time. It's the disciplinarian thing, I think. :D

Re: Your original post. Simon from the Misfits. He is PROBABLY my new favourite thing ever. He's bloody gorgeous.

Alas, he's not an embarrassing crush.

Leonard from the Big Bang Theory however..........

    David Mitchell & Robert Webb
    Louis Theroux
    Christian Bale
    John Travolta
Marcus Brigstocke (not sure if he is considered odd but he sure is yum!)

Well, yay. Haven't met anyone else who has acknowledged the wonder that is Simon, even with his odd jaw clenches.

Also, Robert Sheehan (Nathan) but I knew he definitely wasn't a weird crush as he's a fucking ride! :D

And Leonard is adorkable. Especially cos he's pocket-sized and looks corruptible.

Is Christian Bale an odd crush? I'd definitely give him a good seeing to, although perhaps with a sock in his mouth to prevent him doing his Batman voice and wrecking the moment. I'm a romantic like that! :pac:

Louis Theroux is only the best. I love how he feigns ignorance.

Also, I made a mistake. It's Nathan (Robert Sheehan,) I love. Simon can take a hike. ALSO Simon Pegg.

Benicio is not weird enough for this thread. He's pure, unadulterated RIDINESS.

John Travolta only qualifies if it's puffy, modern day Travolta. Not "Grease" Travolta.

Ooooh, Robert Sheehan's great in Misfits alright. Annoying little s**t but it's all part of his charm. :)

Well good then. More Simon for me. :D

Simon Pegg's not a weird crush though. He's cute as a button! Now if you said Nick Frost, you'd be right.

Benicio is weird-looking though, in fairness to him, but he has smexy charisma. Also, that voice...

Which brings me onto another one -- Alan Rickman.

Exactly! Although, I think his appearance in Love/Hate sealed it for me. *wipes drool* He looks like the bastard child of Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy, with the best from both.

Hahahaha! I think it was Dogma that sealed it for me but that voice is like velvet.

I loved him in Dogma, even though he said he was as anatomically impaired as a Ken doll.

    James Corden.

I'd be arrested for the things I'd do to that man

Poor Ken. Such perfect hair, such imperfect genitals. I LOVED him in Dogma. But I prefer him as Snape. Just because y'know, it's Severus f*cking Snape like!

Don't ya just love his lovely curls?! Hah!

Not Alan Rickman! He's Snape for Gods Sake. Hahhaah! I dunno. He actually makes me shudder...and not in a good way. :)

I'm thinking John Travolta in Pulp Fiction so it's like a compromise - half way so to speak :)

    Also, Frank Skinner strangely.

Would have to agree on the Hugh Laurie, Alan Rickman, David Mitchell and Adrian Brody fronts. To which I would have to add Kevin Spacey. And Rupert Penry Jones (from Spooks). I guess I just like older men :o

Is Jay Baruchel (with nerd glasses in Fanboys) embarrassing? If not, I had a thing for David Bowie from the Labyrinth when I was about 11.

There are more, but that's probably enough for the time being. :D

Have you ever seen Dogma? And actually, now I think of it, he's still quite attractive in Harry Potter. Got that Gothic authoritarian thing going on.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,559 ✭✭✭Millicent

Also, Robert Carlisle! Just thought of that one while judging EverEvolving for her Frank Skinner attraction! :pac:

That Dobby girl from Peep Show.

"Kooky" girls usually get on my nerves, but she's actually quite nice.
