Great, got your attention Now I need your help!

Firstly, thanks a million to the moderators for agreeing to let me post this here (and in other forums). If you don’t know me, I’m in my final year of a psychology degree. For my thesis, I’m studying sexual behaviours in Ireland – specifically “abnormal” behaviour, or what are known as paraphilias. To this end, I’ve put together a questionnaire that I need people to fill out. It asks fairly specific questions about sexual behaviours and interests, and I’m trying to get as many respondents as possible. It won’t take more than 10 minutes, so if you have a bit of spare time, I’d really really appreciate you filling it out. It is absolutely anonymous – your IP address won’t even be logged by surveymonkey.com. I will have absolutely no way of ever identifying respondents. The results will be completely confidential.

If you do take the time to do it, you should be aware that the questions are sexually explicit in parts. You do not have to answer any question you’re not comfortable answering, and you may quit the survey at any time without repercussion by clicking “Exit The Survey”. I'm looking specifically for Irish participants, so there's no need to do it if you're not Irish (but thanks anyway!).

Just to add - many have asked for clarification on one issue. Question 10 refers to "full sexual relations" - this is however you define full sex yourself.

I'm doing it in UCC. It wouldn't be fair to single out particular things because you'll never know who'd get offended, but people will get turned on my EVERYTHING. Some of the things I chose to leave out where things like blood, urine, poo, dead people, children, etc...

New fact: A hebephile is a person sexually attracted to kids in the early stages of puberty. It's distinct from paedophilia, which I never knew.

Riddle me this, as your doing your thesis on it, do all sexual preferences (bar the hard wired ones like whether you like dudes or chicks,) stem from some sort of psychological base or are they ingrained in us?

I'll get back to you in a couple of months when I know the answer to that question better .

I'd hypothesise that it's largely environmental factors, rather than biological, but I don't know any definite facts on it yet.

The bit about hair being a turn on didn't suprise me much, I encountered it before!

For some odd reason I decided to cut most my hair off, I went from really long hair to quite short, for a bit of a laugh I recorded it and ended up putting it on youtube(thinking no one would want to see me cutting my hair except for people I know) it got far too many hits was linked to a few other sites which was all about women cutting/shaving their hair, were people commented on it with things like 'thats my kind of woman' I had a good few people send me pms asking me to send them my hair. It weirded me out, since then nothing has surprised me when it comes to sex, except women that don't let their OH see them naked, don't give bjs and only do one position(didn't realise that women like this exist in my generation until a few months ago)
