    This morning:

    9 miles in 1.14. Average pace 8.18.

Nice Saturday morning run. Too long since I did a longer run. Felt all good except for my poor nipples which missed a bit of vaseline.

Need to sort out a training plan over the weekend.

    This morning:

    5 miles in 39.17. Average pace 7.51.

Knees acting up for the middle of the run but loosened towards the end.

Signed up for Dublin marathon last week. All I could think of today was how far off where I want to be I am at the moment. The result is a cross between apprehension snd motivation.

I signed up to Dublin Marathon recently and am strongly thinking about following P&D up to 55 miles per week plan.

Id love to know some opinions on the plan? What sort of time should be achievable from it? General reviews? Anything would be a great help.

Also Im thinking about signing up to the Clontarf Half as a training race. Any reviews/opinions on that?

Lazy week off as a result of few dats off work, my birthday and some laziness. yesterday was meant to be a return to running but pints friday night killed that.

    Yesterday:

About an hours walk up Bray head. Lovely weather. Then a trip to the gym in the evening. 1000 metre row warm up. Chest and shoulders weights. Changing this to high reps low weights.

    Today:

Supposedly a long run. I type this sitting on a bench in Phoenix Park. Gave up after 5 miles. Terrible effort. Still feeling completely dehydrated from the beer. Some day ill learn!

    5 miles in 44 minutes.

Got physio on my shoulder during the week. Working on loosening it up as its horribly tight. Listening to a lot my Kelly Starret podcasts of late. Very interesting info.

Overall the week off was no harm. Marathon training starting soon so no time off then.

Now I have to walk home from the Park. Thats what I get for being a lazy booze hound!!
