So it's that other time of year again, and what are fellow Boardsies gonna do to ring in 2011?

Maybe some of you are working, in which case, fair play!

I'm either staying in or going to a house party, that seems to be the consensus for the moment.
I can't stand wedged pubs around this time of year anyway and the seasonal drinkers that make asses of themselves around Xmas/New Years:rolleyes:

The best new years eve of my life was in Syndey australia a few years ago. For lots of reasons i couldn't be bothered going into, one being the fact i was overlooking sydney Harbour bridge when it hit midnight.

Every other new years eve since then has either been average or sh!te. Usually the latter. Its just another excuse for a lash of drink. And im not even going to drink that much because i don't want to start the new year hungover.

Booked into a private 5* beach house setup with the OH and some friends.
Will have a traditional new years day swim in the pacific, drink a good few cocktails (not really just fruit, rum and ice thrown in a blender), eat out, cook some steaks and swordfish on the BBQ, and play my traditional game of monopoly.

Nobody will want to play it, but I will more than likely be able to force them into it!

Seriously considering staying in and watching seasons 2 through 4 of Dexter.

2010 was a seriously sh1t year for me so I don't feel much like celebrating.... but the chances are I'll end up getting dragged to an overcrowded over-priced night club to drink watered down pints and swat away desperate guys looking for a midnight kiss. Oh the joys! \o/
