Thanks. Suppose maybe they might air the season throughout without gaps, which E4 seem to have a habit in doing (aside from when there's a hiatus in the US, they usually stop showing TBBT and HIMYM in the spring for a few months).

Yeah, it reminds me when they had stop-gaps when they were showing New Girl on E4, but depends on who's showing it first as E4 are showing TBBT ahead of RTE, but RTE have New Girl ahead of E4 among other numerous shows i could mention!

Revenge on E4 will have better sound due to 5.1DD being transmitted,

Whereas RTE don't know what 5.1DD is..

Revenge starts on E4 on Mon Jan 7th

but with RTE2 showing 2 episodes the following day it will put them 6 days ahead of E4 for the rest of the season.

Both RTE and E4 have a season 1 recap episode at 8.00pm on Monday 7th

E4 are now advertising How I Met Your Mother Season 8 as part of their January lineup, didn't pick any exact date though unless I missed it. Presume it will take up a Thursday night slot as usual.
