    I'm from Dublin and it was 'get off with', then 'meet' and now it's 'score'. Never shift.

    They stopped around the mid 90's from what I can remember, clubbing was never the same again imo :(

    That place on Nassau Street still does them if you either want to partake or avoid them.

    I live in about a rural a place as you can get and I've never seen a slow set. Then again Wexford is an odd place.

    Ahh so true, the teeage discos after taking 2 sips of vodka and thinking your pissed! 'Shift' is definitely making a revival though, but in a jokey kinda way. It's a great word though ;)
