not that impressed with them, bit to big for my liking, why they don't throw in a small Nuketown/Firing Range type map I can never understand as these are some of the more popular map types on Blops, also really wish they had giving us 24 hour nuketown for this weekend, they were probably worried no one would play the new mappack

I downloaded and installed it in bout 15 mins!! was great..

however it took me 24hours to get to the point of putting funds in my wallet..

Same here although in fairness I was trying to use an expired credit card. Proof beyond doubt that I truely am an idiot. :rolleyes:
Played the new maps over the weekend. KDR fell off a cliff as usual. Agree with an earlier poster that they should have thrown in a smaller map but overall I think they're quite good. I fell into the ravine in that snowy map maybe 20 times. Damn u marathon pro.

Anyone check your credit card statement? I got charged 3 times for the maps, had a quick look on ps website cant seem to find contact details for this. Would say it be common enough due to the crash of cred card entry on release date.

i wasn't impressed with them in the beginning, very wide and open. more so 'coz i wasn't fond of the sniper rifles. i've tried playing with them the past few days, and while i'm no crackshot with them yet, the new maps have grown on me.

Stadium, as I said when I saw that single pic of the map a few months back looked like a map I'll like.. boy was I right.

Berlin Wall I had one game on it and I raged quit nearly immediately out of it. Those second floor building will be filled with ghost, ak's looking down the staircase and claymores/motion sensors. The B plant in Demo and SnD looks horrible if you are attacking.

Ascension I really liked in the one and bit games I played on it. Possibly the fact I got a Ray Gun for the first time increased my enjoyment.

Overall, it's more mixed bag as are most map packs. Disappointed they didn't incorporate a COD3 or even WaW map into it. I think COD4's single map pack is the exception(great mix and all of which looked great) regarding map packs.

So after the weekend I feel like I can make a better judgement on these maps. Got to say that overall, I love the map pack. I've come around to Berlin Wall and Discovery, even if I think the latter is unbalanced(the defending side/spawn). Berlin Wall on the factory side, the few factories at the back are annoying as hell as there is usually one camper in there with ghost pro and claymore/motion sensor. On the opposite side, there are only 2 places of which you can get to the 2nd floor. Which is fine.

Main criticism though is there should have been one Summit sized map at the very least + I'd of liked to have seen a return of a COD3 or WaW map too. Treyarch could have given set map a makeover like IW did with when bringing back Canteran(COD2) and giving it a new skin -> Chinatown(COD4)

Yes, Stadium is easily in my top 3 favourite BOPS maps.

Definitely my favourite 3 maps so far are Summit / Stadium and Havana (Nuketown for just hectic games)

When I click on to the Playstation Store menu now it starts to 'Fetch' the maps...but then the whole system seems to be freezing...I paid for and downloaded them today and took around 4 hours to get to 100%....anyone have any idea whats going on now though?!

Servers were down from 4pm to 3am yesterday. Masybe that's the problem?

Was thinking that might have been it but then saw on another thread someone saying it was back online! I'll try it again later,heading to a meeting now so not able to!
