Yay finally downloading

Don't know whether it's just coincidence or not but mine also started working through the multiplayer menu rather than the PS store off the dashboard.

I got them downloaded in 10 mins an installed in 2.. Sometimes I just love this 30meg broadband.. U still downloading ade or ya get it finished mate?

So... ended up watching Zoolander. Going out to shoot some pool. Finished that, on my home around 12am(time I reckon it was finished downloading). Met some friends in the club beside the arcade/pool hall. Too many to drink. Didn't sign out till a few minutes ago. I owe a lot of people a lot of pints and the 2nd map pack

Sincerest apolgises to Tal and Keith especially.

But yeah inconclusion, on my terrific connection.. it took oooooh..............

8 hours to download I think o_o.

Another Boardsie was sharing out the map pack to 4 others, Balfie, Ade, Tallon and Snow-Monkey. Ade was second in-line but his slow connection meant Tallon and the other dude couldn't download it until he was done.

Balfie = 10 minutes
Ade = 8 hours

You're not meant to, but when you buy the map pack you get 5 uses. If you give someone your psn details they can download it to their ps for free. I gave it out last year to a few Boardsies (..that sounds really ghey :pac:)

Ok so,say if I was the one who bought the map pack. I could share my details ie: email and password for my PSN account to 5 other people. You being one of them. You could then download the map pack for free using my account.

Obviously, I was the one who was getting it for free and I have offered the lads the 2nd map pack for free in the summer.

I'll just say that in fairness to me that I did offer via PSN, boards PM and in this thread and/or PS3 thread to stop the download at various times when it was around 15-40% so Tal and SnowMonkey(?) could download it. Just want to point that out again.

From what I remember, Heavy Rain demo was a similar download size or close to it, 1600MB. That took me a couple of hours to download. It frankly doesn't make sense how it was x4 times that.

Yeah eventually mate. If I had my old boxing bag still around, I would have taken a kitchen knife to it going by my rage at one point! :pac:

Discovery is one steaming pile of dung.

Kowloon, I like.. for certain game modes it'll be great ie: Dom. For others, not so much.

Stadium, as I said when I saw that single pic of the map a few months back looked like a map I'll like.. boy was I right.

Berlin Wall I had one game on it and I raged quit nearly immediately out of it. Those second floor building will be filled with ghost, ak's looking down the staircase and claymores/motion sensors. The B plant in Demo and SnD looks horrible if you are attacking.

Ascension I really liked in the one and bit games I played on it. Possibly the fact I got a Ray Gun for the first time increased my enjoyment.

Overall, it's more mixed bag as are most map packs. Disappointed they didn't incorporate a COD3 or even WaW map into it. I think COD4's single map pack is the exception(great mix and all of which looked great) regarding map packs.
