    Hi all
Im looking to get into a spot of deer shooting
Ive already got a .22 a good few years but the lands ive permission dont have any deer on them
Ive been told you only need one permission with deer on it to get the deer licence
Is this true or do you need two?
    Thanks

    Depends on the acreage
My first permission was 360 acres or so, I got mine handy as deer were in good numbers.
I since then have permissions on farms ranging from 25acres-400 in size.

Ranger told be ~150 acres is the norm, however it depends on numbers, you could get permission on a 50 nacre farm if deer were in serious numbers

............Ive already got a .22 a good few years .........

This may soud silly, but as you haven't said anything i have to ask. You do know you CANNOT shoot deer with a .22 rifle. It must be 22-250 caliber or higher to be deer legal.
