My laptop for €700 at the time. Thought it was a good investment, 4 years on it still works lol

Prob my tour of italy at the summer, cost around €1000 but it was worth it!

e700 on bits & bobs for the computer. Only when I totted it up did I realise how much I'd spent. Last bits going in over the next few days!

e5000 spent on gambling five years ago... never, ever again.

Maybe not the most expensive purchase of my life, but the one that offered the least return on the investment was when I was driving home one day I happened upon a sign for a poultry fair.

One thing led to another and I arrived home with a bag of ducks.

They made ducklings, they run everywhere and steal my things.

Not the most expensive thing ive ever bought but if you're looking at sheer rip off/extravagance then bottle service in nightclubs in vegas and ibiza. 300euro for a bottle of vodka thatd cost 25 euro in an off license, and then being subject to minimum purchases per table e.g we had to buy 3 bottles to get a table + tax + mandatory tip.

was worth it though, got to live it up and wont forget them nights! or remember a lot of them!

I once spent €600 on a iPod back in 2003, 40GB. Battery died soon after and had to lug around a battery pack with 4 AA batteries in it.

£400 (€500ish) on a DVD player back in 2001. It had surround sound outputs back when that was a big deal rather than standard and that cost me an extra £100. Thing is I didn't even have surround speakers at the time (only planned/hope to get them at some future point). The player died exactly 2 days after the 1 year warrenty ran out.

    Fúck you panasonic.

Around 700 euro on weed in Amsterdam one time. I don't really get or spend much money. That's probably just the most unnecessary thing I've paid for.

    Great holiday!
