    OP, it is your call in the end. But I do want to point out something. Both you and your son have an interest in COD, maybe video games as a whole. While generally I would say no a four year old playing an 18s game, turning the violence off and playing some Spec Ops (co-op) together could benefit his development. Learning to react to uncertain events and to communicate with someone at the same time maybe good for him. Is another game you could get your hand on that isn't as 'violent'?

    IMO, do video games in balance, and to them together.
