Wondering would it be dangerous to go to Dublin from Tuam for a concert tonight. Planning to get the 12.45am bus back to Galway but if it snows in Dublin and it gets worse near Galway, I fear it will be abandoned. Would be disastrous if that happened...

    - 2 C. High cloud all around. So it looks doubtful the snow will get to the magical 30cm over the next few days.

28cm on the grass, 22-25cm widespread, no thaw whatsoever.

Blue skies with some scattered high cloud and no wind. Doesnt look like we'll get our foot of snow as you say

Sunny all morning here in North Tipp but has gone cloudy now and very grey. Hoping to see some snow later this evening as we have not had much over the past few days.

You should be fine. Doesn't seem like there will be any snow heading for the south east after all now!! Roads fine in Carlow anyway just a bit frosty but no snow :)
