Radiant Silvergun, still sealed and VGA graded 90.

I'm only interested in VGA graded 100 games. 90 graded games are for chumps and we all know what the difference between a 90 and 100 rated game is.

    About 9 squillion quid?

I don't care about the VGA grading but I'd love a sealed copy of the game.
But man, the price on it

I could buy 3 or 4 copies of Darius Alpha for that kind of money :D

Isn't the whole VGA grading thing somewhat of a scam?

Still: you're basically paying 4,000 for some plastic. Great game and all, but I can think of several thousand things more worthy of my money :pac:

You really should get one of them VGA graded and see how much it increases the value as a matter of interest!

The item jumps massively in value because it's enclosed in an acrylic box & approved by a self appointed organisation? Sounds ridiculous to me, but you know what they say about fools & their money

Hopefully the mods don't mind this, but I guess it's somewhat related. Star Wars had games right?! Invasion Dublin have given boardsies a 25% discount for Friday 4th May. Works the same as the Infideals & Rewind Bits code. Hey, if you don't ask you'll never get ;)

@Steve_SI: Not sure if it was you or someone else that mentioned recently about getting an N64 DD unit? There's a gorgeous looking boxed one for sale on AO atm, minty. Comes with Mario Artist too. Says he'll split the bundle depending on the offers so you might be able to just snag the DD if you wanted.

Yeah it was me. My one is in mint condition and came with a bit more 64DD stuff than that one on AO. Think I paid 700-800 euro for my one so that price is pretty decent.

Check out this chap's ebay listings, link, the condition of each is almost too good to be true. Love the look of the Computer Space machine and that Robotron cocktail is gorgeous (Ciderman prepare to "jizz yer pants" again). Reckon that Star Wars cockpit would fit nicely into your shed EnterNow. ;)

    The pricing though. :(

Whoa. I need a wet towel.

I WANT the Robotron cocktail although, I must confess, I'd prefer the upright version.
I read an interview with Eugene Jarvis and he was talking about his cab that he still plays, how it takes an hour or so to get in "The Zone", and he wrote the damn thing!
So, now I want one; can't have one, but want one!
I'd even settle for a Mame cab whose two joysticks were configured for Robotron bliss...
I think I may be spending time in Kerbdogs new house!

I was going to bid on it, but then I saw it was only VGA 85,

    so I said **** that.

The seller gets bonus cred for this line alone though:

I was going to bid on it but I wanna play it. Guess I'll just have to get the games separately and a stopwatch.

A magnificent beast of a console, really is the trophy you can show non retro gamers when they question your obsession, a quick blast and they will understand....

I'd imagine there could be some real gems in this if they ever decide to split: http://www.adverts.ie/other-consoles-games/home-arcade-room-complete-contents-for-sale/1568785

So many job lots on adverts though :(

    Holy crap!

Trying to sell that as a lot is pretty much a way of not selling it. Maybe wifey said it all had to go so he put it up 'for sale'.

Always bound to be unfortunate or reluctant circumstances when a collection with that much work put into it has to be sold.

I guess selling it on its own would be a logistical nightmare, although Ebay would be much more suitable a location for a bulk sale rather than adverts.

Still, let's hope it gets split ;) 5,000 actually sounds pretty reasonable given the amount of stuff in there, and I'm sure a collector of that enthusiasm would surely have a fine software selection.
