Sorry Titan me thinks you'll be doing your exam:( - i'd say it won't anywhere near bad enough to close schools/colleges or whatever....but who knows....sure i'm no weather forecaster! But i don't think we'll get much - prob a few passing flakes!

in the Irish sea we have a band in the north Irish sea moving SSW and a band in the south moving NW.

With a big gap inbetween, although they could converge

Have to admit I'm a bit if a fair-weather (foul weather?) reader of the weather forum, but at times like this it's addictive. Forget watching the xfactor, I'm watching the sky. In Dublin city, praying for snow. Any chance, can you experts tell me??!!

Ya,I'm more hoping that the weather means getting to college will be hard for lots of people, and it'll be cancelled that way.If we get ridiculous amounts of ice,i'll be happy with that too.But snow is more fun

Keeping the laptop on all night (well in standby) and then when I wake up I can check IrishRail's twitter feed in the morning. Hope the darts are running ok in the morning...

It looks that way on raintoday website. Methinks the radars are a bit confussed with snow because they are so use to dealing with rain :D

Was going to post about this earlier. Great chance of a 6 to 8 hour snow event for Cork overnight. Starting in the East of the county about midnight, and over the entire county by 2am. Should start to ease off around dawn or shortly after.
