5 Degrees is good enough if you want to hang game in it.
    Does it have a fan?
I have a Finches fridge that has a fan so the cold air circulates.

You should be able to adjust the fridge lower though, almost to freezing point !

    Touché
waaaaaaaaaher as they say down home!

I find if left to chill ~2-3deg it is much easier to get cleaner cuts of meat with less knife sharpening between cuts.

To the best of my knowledge they are not designed to go below 5 degrees. They are for chilling drinks and keeping them cool not for freezing. I used to work in a shop whe i was a kid and the lowest the ones there went to was 3 degrees. Any lower and the possibility of freezing got higher.

it has a fan but i'd like the meat colder cause its easier to handle and cut
