    Beyoncé welcomed her and husband Jay-Z's first daughter Ivy Blue Carter into the world yesterday (January 7).

    Jay-Z has written a song about the kid already, in which he says that Beyonce had a miscarriage before this baby. That's quite sad, so it's nice for them.

    Doubt it. AFAIK, they split in mid-summer and got back together in November. More than likely a "Yay, we're back together again let's have lots of sex" baby.:P

    I read she was in critical condition for the last three days but is now stable, glad they're both ok.

    I heard that too, that she was 'fighting for her life' after giving birth.
    Poor Amanda, she hasn't had it easy. She must have been broken hearted after the miscarriage and then the still-birth. :(

    Hope mother and baby are doing well now, though. :)
