Great quality stuff in there. Most of the clothing are new with the tags still on! Not like the usual charity jumble style layouts :D

Looking to employ 8 to 10 people too, great to see that unit being used, finally.

I was in there having a look at the building to rent for something else. Its a decent size. I don't like the fact that you have to go through a small space before you pass the front wall of the church but im sure with some big window banners there they can do a good job.

I assume though the landlords came down from the mad rent they were asking for aswell!

6? Thats being very generous. And if what i was told is true, hooking up with a family like that to run a business will certainly put an end to his previous "career"

New restaurant/café specialising in Baked Potatoes is after opening on the Ennis Road across from the Strand Hotel.

Haven't tried it myself but I love baked potatoes so I'll give it a shot. :)

good concept, The Spud House in Galway is similar. But why there? Nothing ever succeeds in those units.

That's what I was thinking too. Hate to be critical of a business that's opening in these times though.

Best of luck to them - the lack of parking and the fact they are across the bridge is probably the reason why nothing ever is a success in those units

Let's be fair. The recruitment agent did not collapse due to not having parking. Surely it was due to economic reasons and the lack of jobs.

    Expanding??

On another note was talking to the Moody Cow guy the other day and he's thinking about a second location. Going very well.

The moody cow is not viable which is why they are mostly franchises. The fad will not last forever. I suggest looking at the juice bar fad as example.

while i do like the milkshakes, i tend to agree. Maybe a smaller cart based one like those little coffee things that do the rounds, wheel it down oconnel street/cruises street. hard to carry all the choccy though!

Anyone see "The Chocolate Cow" stand in the Parkway, taken over from the Juice bar that used to be there

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,015 ✭✭✭✭Mc Love

I have been realiably informed from inside m+s that a new store will open in Limerick.

Where, I don't know nor when but I trust this information to be true and honest.
