    Love it. Really strong with a bit of white pepper and crackers on the side to dunk in it. Yum going to buy some tomorrow.

    Hate it. When my granny was in hospital before she died, my relatives kept having cups of this so the smell reminds me of death.

    I love meat.

    But I dont like it when they (the food puppeteers) try to turn meat into a snack, like meat in a cup (Bovril) or 'Jerky' (meat chewin' gum)

    Leave meat alone!!! It's perfect as it is. In meat form. :cool:

    Bovril is great. I have some in the morning in the winter.

    Its also a great hangover cure. Chicken Bovril is yum too

    I like bovril, i drink it occasionally..... especially in this weather. I've recently come across some people(under 20yo) who had never heard of it. is it just me? is there a legion of bovril drinkers out there? I always loved it when i was a kid with a few cream crackers and butter for supper!:)

    I use it as a beef stock. It's miles better than most stock cubes.

    Wouldn't drink the stuff though.

    my da was big into it. don't seem to see it around in the shops much these days, so have never really gotten around to getting into it.

    Would be a good warming up drink these days alright... but sure... Whiskey does me fine too.

    I can never beleive that some people have never had it, I'm 19 and love it although I don't have it very often but there is always a jar of it in the house, I love when there is a bit left on the spoon and having that!

    yeah my mam always gave it to us cause it was good for us (its jammed with vitimains apparently) but i still really like it, but nobody i know in college etc seems to have heard of it or if they have its like 'ugh"

    I've heard of it, but never tasted it. Doesn't seem quite as repulsive as Marmite, but still I'm not rushing to try it or anything.
