Play on xbox Ive had no problems in the few hours ive played on it, the ps3 version is shambolic and treyarch are a disgrace releasing a game which obviously needed 6 months more dev time on ps3

i like the community on the ps3 better

bloody ade and lee wouldnt inv me, I wanted to see could that get me out of waiting for other players screen
I have to reset my router too each time my ps3 freezes, joys of nat 1

thanks to jtc for doing it but no such luck

Same, none of my RL friends have xboxes They said they where hoping to fix the freezing on the map screen in the next patch though.

Main thing on xbox is that I find myself getting 4 bar connections much more often than on ps3

See for me, all my IRL mates be it from school days or uni are all on Xbox. There are only 4 people I actually know IRL on PSN

The blue triangles are friendlies at the top of the hill attempting to plant C4 charges on Vietcong/NVA objectives.

The map has scale, ambition, impressive imagery, atmosphere. Everything that's lacking from BOps and its maps.

Despite the massive earnings, IW are gone, Treyarch aren't taking the franchise anywhere other than to do little more than reskin old content, and the entire CoD franchise seems like a bubble that's going to burst. Maybe it's time for a MoH reboot and a new engine to go with it.

Headshot I was literally logging off at that stage, if you said you wanted an inv to see if it would take you out of the freeze I would have. I thought you wanted to play zombies and therefore there was no point inviting you if I (and Ade) were leaving.

I hate NAT 2 on my eircom router, been trying to get 1 but cant it wont find the ip address, did everything in all the tutorials but the passwords must have changed since then, tried a bunch of combinations and cant get it to work

meh, i can play it decently enough too keep me happy (See montage coming soon ) Im not saying MS will lose fanboys. But comparing both games exclusive planned releases for the year just seems as if MS have been slacking...

Perfect Dark on the N64, Portal and Half Life is the only games that were of the exception that I can think of.

Have to say the ads behind Gears were simply brilliant.

I thought the first 2 halos were good, never got into the multiplayer tho, was still rocking the PC at the time tho so it couldnt really compete i guess. GoW single player is great tho, i loved the first 2.. again i never gave the multiplayer much of a chance... only for it being released this year i probably would have got rid of the xbox.

there should be a cut of last stand after your 1st or 2nd pristige or at least get rid of the revive its unfair when you come up against a team of 2nd chancers

You can be shot and knifed during this invincible stage by the persons primary weapon. If you use it you're an absolute ******, no excuse - it's only there to get absolute ****ters 1 or 2 more kills per game at the expense of decent players killstreaks.

Long time reader, first time poster and all that jazz.

Wanted to add my 2 Cents to the whole Black Ops thing.

I jumped from COD4 to BLOPS, never touched MW2. I was late to the whole Call of Duty thing and by the time I got COD4 I was already hearing (reading) about the drawbacks of MW2.

After playing my way up to level 2 prestige on BLOPS, I'm really losing any interest I had in it. It's just not as much fun as COD4.

I have even, bless my innocence, thought about getting MW2 and ditching BLOPS or even switching to Bad Company.

I'm really going to echo what everyone else is saying.

Last Stand does my head in, yeah i know you should follow them down to the ground, but it annoys the hell out of me. The speed in which someone on Last Stand can take someone else down is ridiculous.

Certain Kill Streaks are a pain too, RC XD Car! Turret? Great addition but not fair when you get in a chopper and it last 5 seconds.

Some of the hit markers are a bit dodgy but sure who needs them when you can knife someone coming at you with an M16. Knifing if all over the place.

Disconnects are doing my head in. Spent ten minutes in a game earlier where all it was, was trying to find a host.

There is no spark, no fun with the maps. Crisis is a terrible map and just no craic. Havana just doesn't do it for me. Hanoi, Cracked, Nuketown? None of them are anywhere near as much fun as COD4 Ambush, Backlot or Crash.

I dunno, wanted this to be deadly but really thinking of packing it in and trying MW2 or something else.

Anyway, that's my input!

Second chance has always been known as a cheap perk , even cheaper then martydom , the reason there wasnt more biitching about it in mw2 is because of the tubing with dc and commando.
The biggest complaint about black-ops perks is second chance as it is the cheapest perk.

I usually used Sit Rep Pro so martyrdom doesn't usually kill me but it often puts you it a position where you have to stay still/run the other way and naturally this tends to be into the enemy.

Even worse when using Ninja, you leg it forward and either get killed or badly injured and, no doubt, an enemy pops a single bullet into you and you die.

Last stand/final stand/second chance annoy me, far more so in MW2 than when I've been playing BO. Don't know if it's been nerfed or what but I tend to knife the ****ers and not die so much.

It's definitely gotten worse. Been killed 3 times by the second chancers primary weapon as they dropped and were invincible in a game I just had.

Seriously how are the teams picked in the game? I play Mercenary mostly and the teams can be so uneven.
