I'm a final year college student with extra-curricular committments and a part-time job, and exams in December, so I can't devote myself to this the way I want to sadly

But...doing my best, do you guys think it's possible?

If I even got to a pound below 11 stone I'd be happy

    20 y/o female btw

I once lost one and a half stone in a month and a half by just eating less and completely cutting out snacks (chocolate, crisps, soft drinks, etc). i didnt even do much exercise ( athough after it i am still extremely unfit so i probably should have). anyway that worked for me but unlike you, i am most certainly not of the finer sex, so maybe its different?

Eat vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, olive oil, seeds, nuts and you'll that mutiplied by two in the given time!

And throwing in some sprints, burpees and squats will help :P

OP, +1 to the advice FunkZ has given you above.

I'd also recommend you read the following stickies from this forum, and the Fitness forum. The main contributors to these stickied threads are regular users who have a great knowledge of nutrition, bodyfat loss and fitness etc.

Although your goals are realistic, I'd really advise you to not play the deadline game as in 'By this time I will have lost X amount of weight', it just sets you up for psychological headf*ckery down the line. You spend your life wishing away deadline after deadline, it gives you some excuse not to actually enjoy your life to the full now.

You're probably not that overweight to begin with, so be prepared that the loss may take some time, you can stall for two months even when doing everything right. Really overweight people can knock off 2lb a week with a reasonable effort in the beginning. Those final 10lb are stubborn little feckers that won't go for months. Took me a six months of disciplined eating and exercising to lose 8lb!
