    Highly unlikely.

    Why's that?

    http://pitchfork.com/news/52763-guided-by-voices-55000-drum-kit-feud-gets-ugly/

.... I'll side with Pollard on this (even if his emails are pretty harsh) the dude tried to sell his drums at a ridiculous price on the back of the GBV name.

I pity the poor sucker who puts a drunken bid in for them some night.

They were super. Seated gig which was nice for the auld crowd that they got in!

Setlist was brilliant. They did a half hour of quiet seated songs at the start then a break and came back for a fuller set.

Really, really enjoyed it and a superb version of Travelling Light was the highlight for me. Although it was great to hear Dancing too in the opening half hour. Never thought I'd see them play a gentle song like that live.

Has that not stemmed from a photoshopped Arcade Fire billboard? I could be wrong, saw something about it this morning.

Could easily be. I was surprised that they'd announce something as big as Bowie playing with just a billboard and nothing else.

I forgot Yo La Tengo are playing in a few weeks, got some tickets today :D

I remember they opened with "Pass the hatchet I think I’m Goodkind" the last couple of times I seen them. I'm all for variation but I can’t think of a better way to start a set. Would be cool to hear it again.

    Shellac this Wednesday too!

They were a bit before my time but I've been getting through some of Sonic Youths discography lately. A band I didn't think I'd like but I'm pleasantly surprised. The Sprawl is a beast of a song!
