    say what ye want about michael lowry folks , but i tell ya something , he is the ONLY politician in the area of Tipp who consistently delivers for the people of Thurles , could not meet a more helpful guy , at least he works his socks off , MR Quirke was born and reared 2 doors away from me , good decent people and god knows Thurles town needs something , its dying ......

    I'm glad he works for his constituents. However any politician caught doing anything corrupt should be gone, end of story. That might help change a few things in this country.

    I'm also glad they are investing in a county with high unemployment and especially in a recession. BUT I still don't know if this is the right thing to do in the right location. I have very serious doubts that is the case. I'd also be very concerned if they get the casino licence that it was done in some dodgy way. There's been enough dodgy dealing to get us into this current mess.
